Quote:It's not about disliking him, it's the realization that we just don't know yet what we have at QB. It's troubling. I think that's the biggest dissapointment in many Jag minds right now.
I agree, we don't really know what kind of QB Blake is just yet. It's just way too early to tell.
We have seen him make some great plays and some bad plays out there and the fans doing all the complaining about Blake (like calling him or comparing him to Blaine) will only focus on those negative plays.
Unfortunately, this team has a lot of other issues at other positions, and that includes coaching, to get any kind of true sense of what we have out there in Blake Bortles.

Now that's a zinger that got completed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have some of that you play-calling questioners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the playcalling was genius. Star is out, we're gashing them in the run, and they lose their All-Pro MLB. Abandon the run is the smart call as we put up a whoppin 9 pts. Good playcalling indeed. Also like how all these routes are either leading to devasting blows or pick sixes

Lol half these idiots ripping on Bortles were talking about how we finally found our quarterback leading up to Sunday.
Our receivers had trouble getting open all game. Watch the game film, it's true. He was horrible Sunday. His passes weren't on target, but to say all the blame on him is laughable. A joke of an offensive line after Joekel got hurt didn't help. He'll bounce back this week.

Yea before the pick 6 the offense was doing ok, after the pick 6, 4 sacks another pick and Bortles only 47% passing, the team fell apart on offense and that cant happen again.

Expect a lot of oneread bang-bang plays as we abandon the run and throw at least one pick six

I envy the Vikings. Future HOF Bridgewater, and all that star power on offense.
3pts

Who are we supposed to believe? Gus just said the playcalling was cautious (scared stupid), or Bortles who thinks the playcalling is good? Bortles better win one of these next four games or he'll have a new playcaller next season

The offensive line fell apart. He was running for his life.
It was a mixture of many things on offense. All the people hating on Joekel (many in this thread) were proved wrong after he left the game, weren't they?

Oh Geez here comes Mr. pacifist nothing ever bothers you does it? Ok you sit here and keep on standing on your soap box and making all of us
feel like we're completely overreacting. Bon thank you for all your wonderful condescending contributions thanks  .

I am not worried. Blake will sooner or later become a very good/great qb and we just need to keep building around him.

Quote:lol damn Bortles goin in.Ok Blake if its so simple how come you can't grasp it? Fine were all Kindergartners, but 99% of fans aren't paid like fortune 500 CEO's either. How come you still predetermine where you throw passes after year 2?, something High School QB don't do? Try focusing on not throwing another Pick 6 this week BBINT to Miami, maybe once in a while throw more than 1 TD per game ok dude.
