Quote:Out of all the starting rookie QB's, ours has a bad supporting cast and coaching staff.
A month ago you would've said the Raiders had a better supporting cast and coaching staff than the Jags? Yeah right. They're on a damn interim coach right now.
Quote:Funnily enough Derek Carr has been awful.
Bortles again looked so promising today despite having no time and stupid drops
If Carr has been awful what has Bortles looked like then? Clearly you're biased to this suck so I expect no answer or something asinine like your original reply.
Quote:I'm waiting for the time that the locker room implodes and finally says "I'm sick of hearing this crap" from Gus.
"I think you can see the morale is down in here and that's hard for this team. Morale's hardly ever down." Oh it's coming buddy. All that rah rah from the head cheerleader is getting stale and old. This the first shoe to drop on the Gus bus.
Quote:Gus isn't going anywhere unless the losing continues well into next season.
Unfortunately, I expect that to be the case.
Come on Gus, prove me wrong.
The Jags have gone from "3 yards and a cloud of dust" to "averaging 3 wins under a coach named Gus"
need to be fired for 4th and short from inside the Texans's 20(i think) down 10-7, sitting at 2-10, and you trot the field goal unit out there

FIRE BRADLEY AND FISCH!!!
Sad thing is Bortles got a first down. Gus calls a timeout instead of challenging which is essentially the same thing. The guy is in over his head. Good news is the Roar needs a head cheerleader; maybe Shad can let him run around with some Pom poms.
the guys terrible, terrible adjustments, clock management, overreacting massively on his 2 wins that were given to him by the other teams like the all bark no bite person/coach that he is
he's just flat out bad, and soon to be historically bad
he should be fired no questions about it
the regression of bortles is as clear as the eye can see and is the best example of this, from dropping back with swagger and progressing through his read to now looking worse than he was in college

FIRE BRADLEY!
Quote:Let me ask you guys, and this is me trying to be honest...
Last week we came out and did a great job in the 2nd half of the Giants game. We proved we could play D and we proved we could move the football in the 2nd half...
So the players all came out and played again this week. What changed?
The opponent.
I have no problem with taking 3 points in the first half and tying the game.
My issue is the players on the field. The OL and LBs are putrid. I am not a Bortles homer, but he was under quick duress constantly. Fisch is calling plays to get the ball out quick, as he has no choice with the OL.
You realize, as has been said thousands of times, that's he's going nowhere for AT LEAST another year right? And probably not till his contract is up.
Fire Fisch and Bradley? No, not yet. The problems on offense are either the players or the coaches (or both), but changing coaches means Bortles has to learn a whole new system. I'd rather take the chance that the problem is with the players: lack of experience at some positions and lack of talent at other positions. I'd like to give it one more season before we tear it all up and start over again.

I thought Bortles actually played pretty well yesterday.
The difference between last week and this week was the Giants lost 2 OL and their RB so we were able to take advantage of their weaknesses.
Need a new owner also. He doesn't know anything about football.

The current system stinks...does it matter much lol?
Please give Gus and Jedd another year.
I really want another terrible season, with 2 or 3 wins, supporting these perennial losers every sunday.
I really want to see my OC calling the same screen play 2 times in a row, because it works the first time, so why not the second time ?
I really want to see my HC jumping and acting like a 5 years old boy in the locker room after his 6th win in two seasons, against a 3-9 Giants team...
I really want to see die hard Gus fans finding excuses to hide his own incompetence.
And I really want to see my team picking in the top 5 of the 2016 NFL draft, because it works so well for us the last 7 years.
:thanks:
Go Go Gus Kotite... So far he has the edge by a few games over Richie.
