OMG c'mon man

Quote:I thought Bortles actually played pretty well yesterday.
I thought he played ok. That dump down to Toby on 4th and 20 was flat out awful.
That play was a terrible decision.

But overall I think he was good. That TD to Hurns might have been his best play this year. And he lost about 40-50 yards on the two horrific drops by Shorts and Harbor on perfectly thrown balls.

Congratulations Coach Bradley, it's your week with the short straw!

Drops happen all over for every team. I think his best throw of the year was the one to Lee last week.

I really do like Bortles but I think this offensive coaching staff is doing him no favors.

I'd be very surprised if he becomes a success at this point. 30 games into the process and he's not really showing to be all that much better than when he started. Not every coordinator is cut out to be a head coach. I don't think more time is really going to show all that much improvement with him. At this point, he is what he is.
Man - I guess there was a casting call for all the Drama Queens, and they all showed up.

It's a loss. They come out in waves for them.
Quote:I've been a Gus fan all along but you look at what Jeff Fisher has done in St. Louis and wonder if we couldn't be getting more out of these guys.
You can't compare Bradley to Fisher...  Fish has been an NFL coach since the 90's that ruined the Jags best season...  He got Coughlined in Nashville and like TC, landed on his feet in St Louis...   This is Bradley's 2nd year as a head coach...  What can a coach do when your most veteran WR drops passes???  what can a coach do when he has to put a journeyman tackle against the best DE in the league???    He's got all young guys at LB  and secondary so Texans bust a few running plays..  He's got no consistent running game when he has to use a converted QB as a top running back now..

Jags played pretty well for 60 minutes..  Unfortunately, it was 2nd half vs Giants and 1st half vs Texans...    that's the NFL...

oh come on....  there was nothing there down the field....  you'd rather an incomplete pass???   I watched Bortles and he was frustrated by a lack of opportunities...

I'd rather see them try for the first and fail miserably than play scared..

Another shutout in the 2nd half.  We are the worst second half team in the league.  While other teams are making adjustments we are talking about ice cream after the game.

Bradley says "Cyp you missed some horrible tackles. Tough game buddy.  You get 2 scoops after the game"

Yep, such an over reaction to the 11th loss this season, 23rd last 2 seasons, 37th the last 3 seasons, and 48th the last 4 seasons.

The fans have no patience whatsoever.  Have you all not read that we will be in the playoffs by 2039 based on our current "improvement."

Sheesh people, give the team a break already!

Gus stays, Caldwell stays, Babich stays, Fisch stays, Jags shell out some dough for a renowned QB guru.
Can anybody think of a team who regretted firing a coach after two seasons? Somebody who actually amounted to anything as a HC in the future?

Well the Jets did fire Pete Carroll after 1 season FWIW.

In 1994 lol
You can all rest assured that when we play our first home game next year Gus will be introduced as the Coach.....Not saying I agree...just stating an opinion. Khan and Caldwell will give him a 3rd year.

Doesn't mean it didn't happen. I imagine the Browns are a little remorseful for only giving The Hoodie a 4 year stint with their team as well.

You just ruined my summer.
