The #Bills had tried for months to trade DT Marcel Dareus. Finally get it done in exchange for a #Jaguars 6th rounder in 2018.

Pretty much just a salary dump after giving him 95 mil a couple of years ago. Very interesting. Definitely bolsters our run D.

Woah, that's a HUGE trade. Our defense is going to be insane the rest of the season.

That's also erases a TON of cap space.

Was a beast at Alabama, was a top 3 pick. Had a few dominant seasons with Buff. as well

I'm not sure there's any incentive for him to re-work his deal in terms of total dollars, but we may shift some to accelerate a hit to our carried over cap.

Also, he’s a DT from Buffalo. At one point he was considered the best DT and signed a monster deal. Good against both the run and pass. Just more warm bodies on the best DLine in football.

Malik's been on the injury report with a groin injury much of the season. This has more to do with Abry as he'll be the one losing his starting spot.
