Using Trumps "lets" quote is related to the discussion a few pages previous about Trumps "lets" quote wether you like it or not.

He didn't say "let's".  He said that because of his fame, power, and social status he can get away with sexual assault.  

 

The definition of "let" does not change that.  The fact that we're still fighting this stupid game define the word "let" is sad.  And it's a losing argument for the trumpette.  

 

If that's your argument, fine.  But you should not act smug when discussing it with other posters like Kotite.

This new debate style of attempted degradation is interesting but you don't really have the wit or charisma to pull it off. Good on you for trying to switch things up though.


The only connection is the use of "let's". As I have said. You say they are completely unrelated, even though they use the same quote, about the same topic in the same thread about the same person.

Using something someone said as supportive evidence an alleged incident may have taken place IS NOT THE SAME THING AS taking one side of a story and assuming it to be factual without getting any other details of an event.
