I was born and raised in Tallahassee. Even though I left ~20 years ago, it's still home and always will be. I am a Floridian and will die a Floridian and I know first hand that we are a tough bunch. I will definitely have you all in my thoughts and prayers.

We're looking at Hurricane force winds late tonight through 7pm tomorrow night. The bridges are being closed tonight at 8pm, so anyone not out by then ain't going. We're headed out in about 2 more hours.

My four-year old niece and nephew were supposed to have a preschool open house event tomorrow. That just got canceled because of the storm.

I hope you don't lose power either, but I more so hope those all along the east coast of Florida don't die, lose a loved one or lose everything they've ever worked for.
