10 pm curfew at beaches.

Suspending alcohol sales today at 6 pm. That's borderline commie. But understandable because you know some idiots will get likkered up at a hurricane party.

Storm surge at the beach and St.Johns gonna piss some piss up.

hoping the mobile home is ok we're pretty far west into Putnam county off 17. fingers crossed right?

Probably to keep drunks off the road trying to make last minute runs (if they were to be allowed out later than that.)

You know the beach community well.

We live 900 feet from the beach (Mickler - PVB) according to our insurance policy.   We left at 8 am this morning to Ocala and the water levels were getting high already.  Couple that with the 12" of rain we're expecting plus the 5-10 foot high surges and it's going to be bad.  At this point, our best case scenario is no flooding and no structural/water damages to the house --- hopefully I can get back in on Saturday morning --- don't even care if we have running water or electricity at that point.

They'll actually shut off the power to prevent fires resulting from downed lines.  Keep your phone charged at 100% up until then ...... good luck !!!

I forgot I even started this thread.  Got busy booking a hotel a few nights ago when things were filling up then had to go through things last night and grab our most critical items   Talk about jinx'n everyone ..... I'm hanging out in a 209 Sq Ft hotel in Ocala but at least I have some vodka lemonade for later this evening !!!  If I'm going down, I'm going down in style  .....
