We already offered him this #PayDay and he turned it down.

What's Next?

NH3...

We offer him a pay day, with a promise that he won't have to play the contract out beneath a fine-happy despot?

A lot of our guys are a lot more willing to stay with the team based on the last 12-15 hours.
Yan is still doing nothing but making this guy more wrong every day that goes by.

I can assure you Yan doesn't care about TCs fines because he doesn't do "[BLEEP]" to warrant fines

Does he deserve 20 million per year? you do realize his best games have been vs the worse teams and/or vs backups, right? dude disappears in big games.

And still Fowler is having a better season, not to mention Ngakoue has been awful at times vs the run.
Another wrinkle in the #PayYan and #CoughlinRuinsEverything sagas:

Quote:Just before training camp last summer, Coughlin declared that the Jags had made their final and best offer to pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue. The problem? It was late July, and negotiations were still in the early stages, having only started earlier that month. And the comments sufficiently angered Ngakoue, who was planning on reporting to training camp, to the point where he launched a training camp holdout instead. And this was a player that the team wanted to sign.

Hilarious. Coughlin has pretty much ran off 3 of the most talented players this franchise has seen in the past 10 years.

So great.  I think the old Coughlin--i.e., not the Giants Super Bowl winner--is what he settled back into.  The title went to his head.

Coughlin was only the coach in NY.
i feel embarrassed and Khan did the right thing by firing TC. There are 31 other teams in the league and we are not in the position to be uppity, setting rules on top of the league mandatory rules already in place. We need all the help we can get, but instead have ran off talent like we have buckets of it already.
When I read about this.....my first feeling was one of embarrassment.
For the team, the fans and the city.
what was tc thinking?
Seems like we got the Tom Coughlin of old rather than the more nuanced version the giants had. Its unfortunate, some posters did call it, saying that TC would be a bad EVP. Cuddos to them.

Mr. Khan's has no image reflection w/the NFLPA and if he did, it was corrected when he didn't allow TC to retire at the end of the season. He knows what he's doing.

Lol, no, he doesn't.

Khan is clueless about everything related to football.

This has nothing to do with football acumen, this is the business side of things and Khan has proven to be one of the best businessmen in the world.

That's quite hilarious, thanks for the laugh.

I'll just say this... Khan did say something really dumb in his first few months here, something that anyone with a brain would know it was dumb, a great business man doesn't say things like that, the fact that he said it says a lot about him.

Anyway, I am not getting into this silly thing but it is hilarious how people think millionares are like gods haha.

BTW, another sack for Fowler.
Fowler with 2.5 sacks (1 vs Staley)

Marvellous. And the L. On their last gasp for a wildcard spot. What useful sacks and stats. Very Jags ; ).

Won't lie, he does look like a totally different guy though. Terrorizing the O line much of the night, being on the backfield, showing outstanding effort...ah well, another what could have been.

Maybe we could have been like the Giants when they hay Tuck, Umenyiora and Strahan.

For a season in 2017 we were almost exactly that with DFJ, Yan, and Calais. Even had successful but mediocre QB Bleli Bortinng.
