The only saving grace is that at least these protesters aren't starting fires and causing major destruction. With that being said it hasn't gotten dark yet.

I agree. From what I have seen so far it has been mostly peaceful. Listening/watching some of the pressers from the local authorities you would think that there was a major riot going on. While I am sure that there was/is some violence and vandalism going on, but from what I have seen it looks to be minimal and isolated.
