You assume only democrats used mail in/absentee ballots. Military and others stationed overseas use them to vote and they're not all democrats. Folks in nursing homes, those who are homebound for whatever reason, etc. About 1/4 of the mail in/absentee ballots in my county alone where republicans, not counting other minor parties. Yes, the majority who used them are D, but not all.

USPS just testified to a federal judge that this tally was mostly showing ballots that were not given a proper arrival scan, even though they did arrive.
