Leonard Williams went #2 overall and there was no option to trade down.
Maxx Williams went round 1.
It lists Funchess as WR but really would be TE.
Lockett is going to surprise people at the combine with his routes/hands. Outstanding PR as well.

Quote:Love that you got my boy Diggs on there!
I think after the combine his stock is going to sky rocket. I went to Maryland and watched every game. He has some serious skills but we had an awful QB who couldn't hit him when he was wide open.
Diggs was recruited by Urban Meyer and Florida. Loads of talent.
I love this quote from McCardell:
"I can tell you this -- get the ball in his hands and he's a different kind of football player."
That pretty much sums him up, IMO. He has that playmaker trait.

Quote:Which "big board" did you use?
I used their big board, Williams wasn't available..
And Winston lasted til round 2, where the tacks got him. (They get Williams and Winston)

Quote:What no Cornerback? I hope the Jaguars are able to draft DT Leo Williams but I have a feeling he'll be gone before #3.
(His superhype will probably begin after Sunday).
IMO this is a weak CB crop, but then I'm just getting started looking at it.

Rowe is an intriguing guy. Long CB who can also be a FS prospect.
All the guys round 4 and later fascinate me the most. That's where the hardest work is done. Everyone knows where most of the top prospects are going to go, and they come off in the first three rounds.
The harder part is choosing the few from the many of the fourth rounds and later who have a chance to actually make it in the league.
Garcia may stick to a roster with his versatility on the interior. Tayo needs some work, and may work our for someone at RG if RT is too much for him to handle at the NFL level. Both certainly could use seasoning and development.

Yes. And if we could get Rowe in the 5th as you mocked as opposed to the 4th where I grabbed him that makes him even better.
I'm hoping, as it seems you are too, we don't need too many of our 4th-7th round guys starting this season and we can start developing depth behind starters.
It'll be interesting to run this again, post-free agency.
Now that the Combine is underway one of the first orders of business is the weigh-ins and measurement of players.
For OTs in the NFL, they usually need at a minimum 34" arms to keep the DEs off their body and push them out of the way.
Yet, this simple measurement causes teams to think that a college OT should kick inside to OG.
Case in point is Brandon Scherff - OT - Iowa, his arms are 33 3/8" long which is less than 34" so he is considered an OG.
Other players like
Laell Collins - LSU - 33 1/4" arms
Jake Fisher - Oregon - 33 3/4" arms
Sean Hickey - Syracuse - 32 3/4" arms
Ty Sambrailo - Colorado St - 33" arms
Others on the margins
D.J. Humphries - FL - 33 5/8" arms
Jeremiah Poutasi - Utah - 33 7/8" arms
Then there is the difference between OTs that fit the ZBS, which are usually lighter and faster versus the OTs that fit the Power Scheme like Donovan Smith of Penn State or Daryl Williams of Oklahoma.
Finding OTs is harder that it looks, even ORTs.
^Stigma....really on board with Poutasi
It has been reported that the Jags met with T.J. Yeldon - RB - Alabama at the Combine/

BOLD PREDICTION: Trade Scenario
I believe that the Washington Redskins will offer the Houston Texans RGIII for 2 - Rd 2 Picks (2015 and 2016)
Then the Redskins will offer the Titans Pick 5 Plus Pick 38, their Rd 2 pick, but they will have Houston's Rd 2 selection (Pick 51).
So Titans will move down to Pick 5 and take Danny Shelton - NT - Washington.
Jags will take Leonard Williams with Pick 3.
Raiders will take Amari Cooper with Pick 4.
With one of the Titans Rd 2 selections, Carl Davis will be selected at a 5 Tech DE.
Davis, Shelton and Jurrell will be the Titans Dline.
Don't be surprised if Denzel Perryman is the Titans other Rd 2 selection.
