If that makes you happy, that is fine by me.

We simply disagree on this matter.
10 mil. for a RT?   Lol   Bulaga is good but nobody will pay a RT 10 mil. a year.
5 Round Mock(Based off of Latest Walter Football Mock Draft and current FA Signings:None):

Rd 1Big GrinT Leonard Williams-If he is there, you take him.

Rd 2:TE Maxx Williams-Considering this is off of 0 signings to this point, if he makes it to this pick, you take him no doubt.

Rd 3:RB Jay Ajayi-Workhorse RB that can block, run, and catch out of the backfield. Checks most boxes and is younger than possible target Demarco Murray.

Rd 4:WR/PR/KR Ty Montgomery-Could be one of the better WR out of the class. At the least, he provides a MASSIVE upgrade in punt and kick returns.

Rd 5:FS Kurtis Drummond-I've seen him play enough. He could be our FS. He is an absolute stud as a ballhawk, though he can miss tackles at times. Personally, I've always been impressed by him.

Assuming these Free Agent signings (might as well think big now)

1. Ndamukong Suh - DE/DT - Lions

2. Devin McCourty - FS - Patriots

3. Julius Thomas - TE - Broncos

4. Joe Barksdale - ORT - Rmas

Draft (per Walterfootball.com latest 5 Rd mock draft)

Rd 1(3): Dante Fowler - DE-Leo - Florida

Rd 2(36): Benardrick McKinney - Mike or Otto LB - Miss. St.

Rd 3(67): David Johnson - Rb - Northern Iowa

Rd 4(103): Clive Walford - TE - Miami

Rd 5(138): Daryl Williams - ORT - Oklahoma

With all the recent developments occurring with Free Agency, one item that has come to my attention and it involves the fall of Benardrick McKinney most likely into Rd 2. Some evaluators compare McKinney to Dont'a Hightower of the Patriots, others are not so high on him because they feel that he plays too upright and gets blocked too easily. Yet there is another camp, that feels that McKinney might be able to play DE and rush the passer with his 4.66/40 speed off the edge.

Umm.. a LB that can rush the passer? Kind of sounds like McKinney could be a candidate for the Otto LB position.

I suggest we keep an eye on whether the Jags bring McKinney in for a visit. He very well could be a consideration for the Jags Rd 2 selection (Pick 36).

When I wrote him up I thought he'd fit well at OTTO. His change of direction skills leave a little to be desired but as far as a straight line thumper goes, he's your man.
Top 10 NFL mock draft 3.0

No trades draft

Tampa Bay - QB Jameis Winston

Tennessee - DL Leonard Williams

Jacksonville - LEO Dante Fowler Jr.

Oakland - WR Amari Cooper

Washington - LB Shane Ray (must ace pro day)

NY Jets - QB Marcus Mariota (believe a team will trade up to pick this guy)

Chicago - LB Vic Beasley

Atlanta - LB Randy Gregory

NY Giants - trade down for OL (CB Trae Waynes)

St. Louis - WR Kevin White

Note - Still don't believe Tennessee is totally sold on Mettenberger. If Mariota aces his pro day things could get very very interesting
Is anybody else having trouble with the Giants selection at #9 when trying to do a mock?  They need OT, but I don't know that any are worthy of that spot.  There should be a pass rusher there, but they tagged JPP and Damontre Moore is expected to blossom this year.

  1. TAM – QB Jameis Winston

  2. TEN – DT Leonard Williams

  3. PHI – QB Marcus Mariota (from JAC) (Chip Kelly is all in and getting his "DUCKS" in a row)

  4. OAK – WR Kevin White (because they are the Raiders)

  5. CLE - WR Amari Cooper (from WAS)
  6. NYJ –  DE/OLB Dante Fowler Jr

  7. CHI – NT Danny Shelton

  8. ATL - DE/OLB Randy Gregory or Shane Ray

  9. NYG - ?

I could see them selecting Andrus Peat.
Well, now that we have a pretty decent feel for what the free agency class is and where we still need work, I wanted to do an updated mock draft. I will not use Walter Football's latest as reference as he is a complete joke. I will instead base picks off of a 7 round mock by drafttek.

Rd 1: DT Leonard Williams- His versatility and dominance can't be ignored. I wanted to go LEO, but Gregory was gone, I'm not sure about Ray at this point, and for me all other edge players are linebackers.

Rd 2: MLB Denzel Perryman- I think he could be a stud in our system. Poz has his liabilities and is getting older. Perryman can provide depth initially and push for a full time role.

Rd 3: WR/PR/KR Phillip Dorsett- Bradley commented on how he still wants a slot receiver and this could be the guy. He provides big play deep threat ability and would upgrade the punt and kick return games.

Rd 4: RB Jay Ajayi- Pretty much a complete back. Nice pick in 4th round.

Rd 5: OT Cedric Ogbuehi- Very good swing tackle. 1st round prospect before injury. Quality competition for Joeckel.

Rd 6: FB Jalston Fowler- Not big on picking a FB, but he is very good and we don't have anybody at the moment.

Rd 7: FS Adrian Amos- Decent FS provides depth with Brown and Evans.

I keep going back to fanspeak.  I still think their simulator is buggy, but at least it functions by taking guys off the board.

Here's what I found myself selecting with the hand dealt:

3:

DE RANDY GREGORY

36:

RB MELVIN GORDON

67:

WR PHILLIP DORSETT

100:

OT JAKE FISHER

131:

CB ERIC ROWE

164:

WR TRE MCBRIDE

195:

DT DARIUS PHILON

Eric Rowe is a guy I can't stop thinking we'll target.  CB who can play FS.  Big, long DB who might be a fit at FS.

Fisher possibly has the athleticism to play guard, if not compete at either side tackle.

McBride is a project with terrific hands.  Need to work on playing speed and route discipline, and we've got good WR coaching.

Philon was still on the board, not sure if he will be.  Adding weight and strength could make him into a disruptive pass rushing DT.

Dang, I just worked on a mock without seeing this and I had the same scenario.   We trade with the Browns and take LEO at #12 and Gurley at #19.  Only diference was I had Atlanta taking Ray and the Jags getting Gregory at #12.  I think Gregory will be the one to drop for some reason.

I think this is the best case scenario for the Jags now that Chip Kelly says he won't trade up for Mariota.  I even had the compensation for the Jags the same as your scenario, the two 1st round picks and their 3rd.  The Browns are going to be desparate for a QB, and I think they know Manziel was a mistake.  If I were Caldwell, I'd jump all over that deal because you are almost guaranteed to get one of the top 5 pass rushers (Fowler, Gregory, Ray, Beasley or Dupree) AND a stud RB.
Here's what I have with what has been done so far in Free Agency.  I love the idea of the trade with Cleveland, and that would be ideal in my mind.

Round 2 was a tough decision. WR Sammie Coates could be an option there if Caldewell likes him for the slot, especially if Blackmon does not come back.  I went with Stephone Anthony as Poz's replacement next year and part-time starter this year if Poz tears something else.

  1. TAM – QB Jameis Winston

  8. ATL – OLB Vic Beasley

  9. NYG- OT Brandon Schreff

  10. STL – WR Devante Parker

  12. JAC- DE/OLB Randy Gregory (from CLE)

  13. N.O. – DE/OLB Shane Ray

  14. MIA – CB Trae Waynes

  15. S.F. – WR Dorial Green-Beckham

  16. HOU – WR Jaelen Strong

  17. S.D.- RB Melvin Gordon

  18. JAC – RB Todd Gurley (from CLE)

  19. K.C. –  DT Malcolm Brown

  20. PHI- OG La’el Collins

  21. CIN- DE Alvin “Bud” Dupree

  22. PIT –OLB Eli Harold

  23. DET –CB Marcus Peters

  24. ARI – ILB Benardrick McKinnley

  25. CAR – OT Andrus Peat

  26. BAL – DT/DE Eddie Goldman

  30. G.B. – ILB Eric Kendricks

  31. N.O. – TE Maxx Williams

  32. N.E. – DT Jordan Phillips

  33. TEN – CB Kevin Johnson

  34. TAM- OT T. J. Clemmings

  35. OAK – DE Owanagbe Odighizuwa

  36. JAC – ILB Stephone Anthony

Rnd 3 – WR/KR Tyler Lockett (pick 67)

Rnd 3 – OT Ty Sambrailo (pick 77, from CLE)

Based on the new crop of players we have signed in free agency, I see the draft going like this:

1. Dante Fowler- Williams goes to Tenn. and Jags don't get any great trade offers.

2. Best available running back- Gurley and Gordon will be gone, so maybe Ajayi or Coleman.

3. Derron Smith- hopefully the best FS is still on the board.

4. Lockett or Greene - slot receiver and punt returner.

5-7 Dave finds another Telvin Smith (steal) at wide receiver and depth on the offensive line.

Like it but hoping 2nd is a OT that falls (Clemmings//Flowers//Humpries//Fisher) and kick the RB to a 3rd round pick Ajayi//Duke Johnson//Coleman.

Groom the OT behind Parnell…or I could also see them going Max Williams in the 2nd and cutting Lewis..Make the 2 TE set grow up together.
Playing off the same scenario of Pick #3 for #12//#19 from Cleveland.

Jaguars Draft:

1-12: Vic Beasley - Otto - Clemson  (Otto of the future)

1-19: T.J. Clemmings - OT - Pittsburgh (Take the developmental//Raw high ceiling OT that can step in for LT/RT depending on Joeckel panning out or not)

2-36: Preston Smith - DE - Mississippi State (Jags get their Leo of the Future)

3-67: Jesse James - TE - Penn State (The RB board is still plentiful but the TE run is on…Jags grab their inline//Blocking TE in James and cut/trade M.Lewis)

4-100: David Johnson - HB - Northern Iowa (Jags grab the RB to pair with D. Robinson)

5-131: Chris Conley - WR - Georgia (Jags take a burner to hopefully develop into a deep field stretcher)

6-164: Jalston Fowler - FB - Alabama (Jags grab the versatile FB that can run//block//catch…Toby Gerhart is cut with this pick)

7-195: Adrian Amos - S - Penn State (Jags add another body to the FS competition)

Now that Free Agency is almost over, let's concentrate on the draft:

Rd 1(3): Dante Fowler - DE - Florida - Pass Rush DE is No. 1 Need and close to tBAP

Rd 2(36): Jay Ajayi - RB - Boise State - Will rise up the draft boards to be the No. 3 RB in the draft

Rd 3(67): Clive Walford - TE - Miami - Will ultimately replace Marcedes Lewis as the Blocking Inline TE in 2 TE Packages

Rd 4(103): Eric Rowe - CB/FS - Utah - Project that will ultimately compete with Sergio Brown for the FS spot

Rd 5(138): Kyle Emanuel - Otto LB - North Dakota State - Will be Otto Backup SLB

Rd 6(175): Jarvis Harrison - OLG - Texas A&M - Oline Depth

Rd 7(211) Nick Marshall - CB - Auburn - conversion project that may be used as No. 3 QB and backup CB/FS

I could see the Jags taking Maxx Williams at Pick 36 if he is available and then taking David Johnson at Pick 67.

I could see the Jags packaging their Rd 4 and Rd 6 picks to move up into the bottom of Rd 3 and taking Derron Smith - FS - Fresno State if he falls a bit.
I cannot disagree with taking an offensive tackle in the 2nd since one of the potential first rounders is likely to fall to round 2 and become the BAP. My only concern is we already have added Parnell and Brennan Williams (if healthy, he can compete for a spot) and taking the best running back in round 2 may be more beneficial, especially in the short-term. On the other hand, you can never have too many quality offensive lineman due to the likelihood of injury to one or more starters. If they do go this route, I would prefer they take someone who can play multiple positions on the line. Flowers would be my first choice as he can become an elite guard as well as right tackle. If he's not there, possibly Cameron Erving who can also play center. There should still be a quality running back in the 3rd round if they do this, although they would then miss out on one of the top free safeties and I'm not so sure Sergio Brown will be the answer at this position.

I'm really liking TJ Clemmings as he has the potential to be LT/RT but needs the most time to develop which fits into what we would have with Joeckel//Parnell manning said positions for 1-2 years.
