If he had come out and said he is battling and would like to handle things privately, it would be one thing. He hasn't.

He has disrespected the team and owner by leaving them completely in the dark.

He put the team in a bad spot because of his activities, and now because he's basically cut them off.
Quote:He's immature. Thats the only thing I see him guilty of. Its clear that he is battling and wants to handle things privately, but has done a non-existent or poor job in relaying that message.

Its real easy to judge him on this side of things or assume the worst.

He's got big boy problems now.  It's time to grow up.
The real question is...if this were Marcedes Lewis or Ace Sanders would TMD be calling for firing squad or iron maiden.

He's cut everyone off pretty much....not just the team. Its how he's dealing with it. Whatever he's gotta do to get fixed.

Ask Jimmy Johnson about that

If it was those 2, I would have empathy for their struggle with addiction, but no empathy on the level of players they are/ were.

Again, you know this how?  Because he said so?  I'm skeptical about what his long-term status is as an NFL player because the guy has never seen this as a problem.  He's lied in the past, but you're willing to take him at his word now when he's basically saying the same things he had to say with previous infractions.

I think you know the answer to that question.

Well, recently, that seems to have changed. What he wasn't seeing as a problem before apparently is starting to be seen as one, finally.

Better late than never.

And that could once again just be more lip service so the checks start flowing again.

You're buying it lock, stock, and barrel.

He's BIL because he agrees with something you don't agree with, yet you sprain your fingers typing away your "exactly" reply posts every time someone has an opinion remotely similar to yours.

Could....

There are those in this thread that will assume the worst, and those that are willing to hope that its getting treated once and for all.

I'm sure lots of people agreed with that post he (agreed with)....

He's the only one that felt the need to post it. He always does that, too. Its intentional.

Never once posted in the same way when it was something that I said that he agreed with.

There's a track record we can rely upon to determine how sincere he actually is.

Oh, poor TMD doesn't get the positive reinforcement he desperately craves when people agree with him.  Woe is TMD. Confusedweat: Confusedweat: Confusedweat: Confusedweat: Confusedweat: Confusedweat:

LOL, not it at all. I don't care if he agrees with me. But to make a point to ALWAYS post "I agree" with others who have opposing points of mine, is rather transparent and lame.

Like I said, poor TMD.
Quote:I took more positive than negative from the article myself.

If I was in that position I would probably be very private about it also. Also, just because he isn't reaching out to the team doesn't mean he isn't reaching out to anyone. It was mentioned at some other point that he had a roommate, that could very well be a sponsor or just a roommate at an in-care rehab facility.

Yeah TMD, everything I post has to do with you.

I said that was a good point because in my initial post in this thread I said if I was in Blackmon's situation I would probably handle it in a similar fashion by being very private about it.

High Score raised a good point in opposition of what I had said. It was something I hadn't considered when forming my initial opinion. It had absolutely nothing to do with you. Zero.
Quote:You dont?

Drafting two WRs and repeatedly saying the team has moved on is not giving you the slightest hint that they've maybe planned for life without him?

No I don't nor does anyone else. Yes the team has a plan of action that doesn't include B14CKMON within 2014. Yes we drafted a targeted receiver and yes another receiver fell to us as well. Yes we acquired additional receivers via UDFA. As evidenced last season we needed an upgrade at the position regardless of B14CKMON.

W/O B14CKMON how well did our receiving corp perform? Caldwell has repeatedly stated that upon reinstatement... B14CKMON will be welcomed w/open arms and he refuses to turn his back on B14CKMON...

All Anyone knows is what has been said. All else is speculated opinions...

In case you haven't figured it out by now, it's always about the diva, even when it's not.
