So you think they believe in him right now?
Maybe Justin should seek the help of Drew Pinsky for his rehab?
Sick

From reading the article, it looks to me like there's a 20% chance he beats his addictions and comes back. And as long as there's a 20% chance, the Jags are going to keep the door open. It's costing them nothing to do so. He doesn't take up a roster spot, and he's not using up any of his rookie contract.

My opinion- from what I read, it looks to me like it's unlikely he will be back this year. If he was really making progress beating his problems, we would know about it. It reminds me of Jimmy Smith, who seemed to drop off the face of the earth and has barely been heard of for the last few years. No one knows anything. That tells me nothing good is happening.

You had gone a bit quiet with your troll overdrive, but now you're back in the game. Good job.

The whole cycle of briefly supporting the team's moves only to revert to form is part of the tedious and repeated trolling schtick. We've seen it before, and it's always a bit disappointing to see people taken in by the 'new' TMD. Those of us with functioning memories know what comes next. Tongue

What we do, think or believe means absolutely nothing.

Me saying that I doubt Blackmon plays again is not giving up on him. It's me looking at a guy who was in the league for a year and a half and had a DUI, and two suspensions for substance abuse. And having doubts that guy will ever step on a field again.

I have no idea what they believe. I know what they say and it has been said that they will not release B14CKMON upon reinstatement...

Every one on here should be hoping that this kid gets all the help he can get, and not just for the sake of football, although he's proven on field he can be a very dangerous weapon. Team mates who have reached out to him say they've heard he is getting help so you have to take his and his roommates word. Beyond that Blackmon doesn't owe anybody any additional information. It's obviously a private issue.

This so laughable. The real number is 32.6 percent.

But seriously, I believe he'll be back in a Jags uniform next season, clean and sober. Blackmon has a large support network where he's at now, which leads me to believe he'll pull through. As a matter of fact, I think we'll hear good things about his progress during the season.
You don't know him like I know him.

He loves me and he's coming back.

Just you wait and see.

Theres been some on the board since the most recent infraction.

Haven't seen many haters at all actually. The worst you could see is people skeptical about his return. Hardly any "hating" going on here.

I wish I could be that optimistic. But what I see is a guy with multiple suspensions, who has dropped out of sight, and the only people who know what he's doing don't want to say anything. To me, a guy who has had so many hard lessons, and hasn't seemed to learn from any of them, has lost the benefit of the doubt. Right now, there's nothing much to indicate he's getting better.

Some folks have a different kind of hate filter when it comes to holding it up to the position they've taken.

You dont?

Drafting two WRs and repeatedly saying the team has moved on is not giving you the slightest hint that they've maybe planned for life without him?

I guess thats up to interpretation.

Say what you want but, its pretty evident how some folks really feel about the Blackmon situation....some folks haven't given him a chance since his first infraction. (and no I am not talking about SuperJville).

Its more than just "being skeptical of his return" with some people.

And I'm not saying thats the majority. But they're there.
