I really don't see anything sad or tragic. There are lots of addicts in the world. This one's rent and bills are paid, he's not trying to fix and stressing over how rent is going to get paid. He's not neglecting children. Will have more resources and options bestowed upon him than ninety percent of addicts. I mean come on, the guy gets high, who cares?
I just hope this year doesn't get credited to his contract for what four games? He'll be back next year and be very good at his job again. If the Jags do release him he'll probably make more money with a new signing bonus somewhere else. Not really too much sadness going on.
We will void his contract, sign him for minimum, and he will clean up his act and become a HOFer.

I've wondered if alcohol was included in the ban once a player is in the program. Is it a violation of the policy if he's at another players house for a barbeque and he drinks beer? He is legal age afterall. I remember Matt Jones, supposedly, tested positive for alcohol but he was on probation from drug court which is entirely a different matter.

I mean this season was over in week 3, the games are what they are, there's no QB anyway, so those slants were great and all but they'll be back next year.
Haven't heard much from Dez off the field this season…can we get Blackmon a 24/7 babysitter as well?

This is not a player to build a team around and to brand a franchise with. Grow a pair Caldwell and do what needs to be done.

Not even close to Jerry Rice talent level more like Anquan Boldin. Blackmon can be cut and the Jaguars franchise will not miss his services.
One thing I can promise, I am tired of this team and the bull crap that the fans are put through. I hope 5,000 people show up for the remaining home games. One thing I can promise you is that I will NEVER buy season tickets for the Jaguars again.
No intent to put a halfway productive product on the field for the last 6 years that I have purchased season tickets. Wasted over $7,200 dollars on tickets to have to drive 2 hours home miserable after most games.
Can we trade a suspended player for a hurt player?

You get suspended one time, I give you a chance to learn your lesson but the 2nd time, I dont trust you anymore and its in the same year.
He has to make a decision do he want to change his life, like Chris Carter did, its a shame it might be to the expensive of the Jaguars, we prob cut him and he go to another team and turn his life around a be a great player.
