But it stops him from being a Jaguars problem.
Quote:This is getting out of hand. He was literally one of the only positives on the field. Well, his time here was nice. What's next? He starts getting season long bans?
I dunno but indefinite sounds like a long time.
Quote:I agree, he has the potential to become one of the best receivers in the history of the NFL.
But he needs to get help and surround himself with the right people.
I don't think he has that level of talent. He's a good player, but he'll never change his stripes as long as he's in the NFL. I doubt even washing out of the league will change him.
I like this guy a lot. He is one of my favorite players, but I have to say that the simple fact of waking up everyday and worrying about seeing a Justin Blackmon Suspended thread on a MB or website is really starting to take its toll.
I don't know what to think anymore.
Quote:Your move, Tampa.
haha
It was just a matter of time, dude is a total idiot.
Quote:wait what else could possible happen?
Gabbert is given one more chance next season to compete for starting QB. While our organization officially declare themselves inept.
Quote:God, a new low.
If the Jags were playing Limbo... Championship!!!
Just when we looked set at WR. What an idiot. No other words. ugh

or he has a serious problem.
Quote:You build it as if he isn't going to be around, but if he can make it back you accept him back. Its not like adding a WR of his talent is ever a bad thing.
But as said, thats secondary at this point - he needs serious help first.
Basically, the Jaguars organization does indeed have to proceed that Justin Blackmon won't be around in the future. If the Jaguars decide to keep him, anything they get from Blackmon is a bonus.
Well stated that Justin Blackmon needs help. The fact that Blackmon knew the consequences for his actions, yet still couldn't stay away from the substance/ behavior that led to his 3rd suspension, illustrates the extent he needs help. A tragic ending could occur if Blackmon doesn't reverse course.
Caldwell spiked JBs Gatorade with coke to make sure he got suspended to assure us that 1st pick.
Welp, there goes a lot of the hope that this team could make a turnaround with Bridgewater because we had a young star WR. We have absolutely zero positions of strength on this roster now. Becausejaguars.
One step closer to Teddy I guess...
Whelp...another Gene Smith wasted draft.

He's an addict. Plain and simple, and unfortunately he'll always be an addict no matter how long he keeps sober. And when you're an NFL player the environment isn't really conducive to keeping sober.

I think most would just walk away at that point, it's London's problem if it comes to that.
Maybe I'm lost but what happened? I thought he served his 4 game suspension this year already? Is this something else he's done in the past 3 weeks or a suspension we've been waiting to hear about from past indiscretions?

I am not sold on CSIII. Looking back it's easy to say now if the Jaguars should have been more proactive with Blackmon like the Niners did Smith.
