How little football does a person have to watch to actually want Mariota over Bridgewater?
Or do they just like Oregon's uniforms that much?

New owner who won't accept losing and new gm who's well respected but we should just assume that they're clueless because the previous regime failed
hey, if they (Jags new FO) are as smart/ good as you think, then it shouldn't take long before some solid proof/ good moves are made that earns them the benefit of the doubt, right? Right??

I told ya, no.....the mouthbreathers just start drooling when they watch clips like that 70 yard run up the middle, untouched for a TD.
Unfortunately, they are unable to comprehend that this play would never happen in the pro's.

Maybe they don't watch the NFL and they still think read option QBs are lighting the world on fire like they did for the one year before defenses started shutting it down?

How many people have said that?

Yep. Fad offenses will come and go.
Solid fundamentals/ accuracy/ instincts/ football IQ, is forever though.
....and Teddy has got that.

I'm not there. I'm just less impressed with Teddy now than I was in August.

I'm sure a lot of people who have zero idea how to evaluate QBs feel the same way.
Because Teddy is far more improved in basically every aspect of his game from last season. So that is just ridiculous lol
Quote:At least 4.
So 4 out 15 or so who posted in this thread? Most are saying Teddy > Mariota. They just won't complain if we miss out and "settle" for mariota.

That's because they have taken a cranial raping from Gene Smith and are predisposed to being submissive towards "settling".
I want the best. Always.

Well apparently at least 2 other NFL teams do and I think we can assume they watch a bit more football than everyone else in this thread.

That makes 0 sense.
I and most of those who have been discussing this want Teddy. Some think Mariota Is being underrated.

For all we know those 2 teams could be teams that run read option, and they might not even be considering taking a QB in the first round.
Quote:Will Blackmon
Marks
Ball
Hayes
All solid pickups right?
Um, I'm talking the big moves, the franchise changers. This offseason will begin to tell the real story.

How does it make zero sense? I want the best. Teddy is the best hands down.
If we have to settle for "second best" while a team like Tampa Bay gets Teddy, it will be one of the worst things to happen to this franchise.
And those same people who thought he was underrated are probably the same people who wanting us to take awful QBs like Nassib/Wilson/Dysert/Jones last year.

Or one of those teams could be the Jaguars. Speculation is.....well speculation.
