Quote:That's because they have taken a cranial raping from Gene Smith and are predisposed to being submissive towards "settling".

I want the best. Always.

Yep, I agree. I'm done with "settling" especially at the QB position. Mediocre in Jax for far too long.
Quote:Or one of those teams could be the Jaguars. Speculation is.....well speculation.

Evidence suggests Caldwell is highly intelligent. So I'd say that speculation is on par with creationism.

Quote:How does it make zero sense? I want the best. Teddy is the best hands down.

If we have to settle for "second best" while a team like Tampa Bay gets Teddy, it will be one of the worst things to happen to this franchise.

And those same people who thought he was underrated are probably the same people who wanting us to take awful QBs like Nassib/Wilson/Dysert/Jones last year.

The whole Gene smith thing makes no sense.

So now Mariota is on the Nassib/Wilson level?
So now that EJ Manuel broke RG3's record for "fastest serious injury for a QB who likes to run" record, I wonder if Mariota can top it.

No one said that. I am saying he is the choice of people who are afraid of the best and settle for mediocre.

Very few people are afraid of the best (which is dumb to say since everyone can have an opinion) and who said taking Mariota at 2 means mediocrity. The people who would be happy with him obviously think he can be very good.

We pick second? We just throw in the towel because we don't get teddy?

God help us if we get the second pick I guess

Brady tore his acl before. No more pocket passers.

If we are picking second, it's because the Giants are taking Clowney first. And even then I see us swapping picks with them.

I am not one of those delusional Jaguars fans that thinks we are going to win ball games now that we had a moral victory against the worst secondary in the NFL.

Tampa has a better chance of picking first than New York.

Man I really need those lotto numbers for tonight's drawing too.

Tampa is far better than us and has one of the best defenses in the NFL.

You are delusional.

Football Outsider metrics have the Bucs ranked as the best 0-5 team ever.

Well, I'm one of those delusional Jaguars fans that thinks we are going to win ball games from this point forward because of a pretty easy schedule and....well......

#becausejaguars

...because us winning games from this point forward is essentially a negative for us, so it will happen.

also, Tampa is better on paper than many think, but they sure have the look of a team on the field that has very little interest in making that reality. I won't be shocked to see them at 0-16. Glennon is crap.

New Matt Miller Bridgewater love;

Sometimes it's hard to quantify the "it factor", but Bridgewater has "it". Where other QBs would run or panic, he's cool and calm. (1/2)

The best word to describe Bridgewater might be "mature", as he makes reads/decisions that no college junior should make. (2/2)

EJ Manuel was injury prone at FSU. He left the Florida game last year after being injured. And he got knocked out of the Clemson game the year before that.

Oh my goodness!!! The best winless team ever? This changes everything.

As opposed to us who people are considering one of the worst teams of all time? I'd say so.

What does that mean, as long as they have zero wins?

It's football. Anything can happen. Hell we played Denver better than most teams this year. Tampa has a coach who is about to lose the locker room and a rookie qb. They have a chance just like us to go winless.
