He's a dude that plays a spot that is important. But he plays it in a way where you don't even recognize that he's playing it.
He's just a dude. Being just a dude is great if you're a 4th rounder. But a 1st round pick that is just a dude is a terrible pick.

I ain't trumping Fowler as a great pick , just stating he had a good game. If he averaged that for the season he would be doing well.

Fowler was a reach. Should have selected Leonard Williams, but we needed a pass-rusher. Caldwell isn't a BAP GM, he's a needs-based drafter and that's one of the reasons he needs to be fired along with Gus.

But there was a player who fit the need that was in the top tier of players available...Dave just picked the one that wasn't.

Beasley doesn't play DE, DE is the position Fowler plays. And I don't like the Fowler pick for Gata reasons, but KY and his manlove for Beasley is a little frightening. Like Spacecoast and Bortles, Beasley might need to start looking over his shoulder.
