lol

I mean what does it actually mean to say you were right about a player?

The point I was making was even though I liked Beasley more, I think Fowler can be a productive player.  I wasn't trying to say "I told you so" to anyone.

lol, I'm well aware of who we drafted and when. I was being blatantly sarcastic in those previous posts.

Everyone knows Mack had a great rookie season.

It's cute how you're both arrogant and smitten.

Mack, of course, didn't have a great rookie year. Dude barely got playing time for a while of it. Not sure why he has to push the fantastic rookie year line unless this is his way in saying he's right about Fowler without waiting until next year.

With the 183rd pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select...

Spergon Wynn, QB, Southwest Texas State

With the 196th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select...

Emanuel Smith, WR, Arkansas.

With the 199th pick of the 2000 NFL Draft the Patriots changed the course of history.

Your last is his whole point in this thread, DFJ will never eclipse his man crush because reasons. It's settled.

The only thing that gets me smitten:

We really have multiple people who think Mack didn't have a great first season? I am shocked at this...

Well I should say I am shocked but people also think Vic had a bad rookie season when it was very good, and Mack's was better than Beasley's.

Looks like a pretty good rookie year to me!

He was good for a rookie (at times) and that's all that was. He wasn't great.

I'm honestly surprised that anyone is saying he had a great rookie year. Many Falcons fans were in the same place with him as we are with Fowler.

What is that from?

Mack. That's who we are debating at the moment.

I was using great for Mack, not Vic. Beasley had a very good rookie season, showing consistent ability to get to the QB but not quite finish...and he was negative against the run. Mack showed off both pass rush ability and was good against the run. Both of them showed exactly what you want to see to know they were going to be stud pass rushers. Fowler is not giving any of those flashes at all. His only success is coming from unblocked stunts.

No, from where?

Well, then that's my fault for confusing the two.

Not sure I'd call it great but it was pretty good.

It's PFF, but it's not a secret that Mack was a pressure monster and stout against the run in his rookie season. It was painfully obvious he was the total package from the get go.

The following story relates to what you mentioned,  in that the AFC East could have been vastly different in the first part of the 21st Century.   It's off topic at least to some extent but in some ways ties into this thread's prime topic and many,  many others on the Forum:

The untold story of how Tom Brady was almost drafted by the NY Jets

Coughlin should be fired for this, oh wait...
