Tice is close friends with JDR...feeling with people close to situation is that it would take a major offer for him to consider leaving.

Caplan tweeted this out about Tice. Perhaps JDR would elevate Tice to OC to keep him in Oakland long term and let Musgrave walk.

Just about to suggest this myself.
Did I miss anything?

No idea yet, still nothing concrete that it's even Smith. That's all based off the Dominik comment.
Lots of speculation now.

Only the one tweet.

Me personally?

I'm not convinced it's Smit yet
I do think we'll know tonight or tomorrow, but I'm not 100% sure it's Smith either.

It's looking likely, but you never know
John o on latest Ozone.  Is hinting on a Mike Smith hire as well.  http://www.jaguars.com/news/article-theO...a67f30ad31

because edited. Smile

WHAT?
O'Brien isn't going anywhere
O'Brien would be interesting.

We'll see after his team gets dominated by the Pats.

They'd be foolish to even think about letting him go, the guy is one of the better head coaches in the league evidenced by him winning two division titles with awful QB play.

If they get dominated by the Pats it will have nothing to do with Bill and everything to do with Brock, Bill O'Brien is a good head coach.

Or the fact that they've already said he's not going anywhere.

Welcome back TMD!
Quote:But Mike Smith not that type.
Meh. I don't know man. When I was younger and he was the DC here he wasn't shy about laying into a player's [BLEEP] for a mishap during practice drills. Don't be fooled by his silver hair and timid smile. The dude can be an [BLEEP] if he needs to be.

So if he for some reason he makes bad coaching choices during the game and the D can't stop Brady or get any turnovers that's not on O'Brien ?

Ever coach makes hind-sighted "bad decisions", I'm more focused on his ENTIRE BODY OF WORK since he's been in Houston. Which included two division titles with QB's named Brian Hoyer, Brock Osweiler, and Tom Savage.
