Quote:Matt Castle says hi. He looked like the next great QB. It's that system that bill belicheck and his staff have up there in place. Bill has the keys to success outside of just cheating.
Quote:I'd just trade for Jimmy G. Instant upgrade, and learned from the best.
Quote:Agreed. I think Jimmy G is the read deal.Okay let me get this straight. A guy who has limited starts at qb is okay. Yet a interim hc with limited starts is not?
Quote:Okay let me get this straight. A guy who has limited starts at qb is okay. Yet a interim hc with limited starts is not?wait whos the interim coach with limited starts here? Marrone?
How does that make any sense? Is it okay only if you feel it is? Cause same rules don't apply to everyone?
Quote:wait whos the interim coach with limited starts here? Marrone?Yes marrone cant be the new hc cause of body of work. Yet jimmy can be our qb with same body of work.
Quote:Yes marrone cant be the new hc cause of body of work. Yet jimmy can be our qb with same body of work.Marrones body of work isnt limited so i dont see the comparison. But i hope neither of them have anything to do with us.
Quote:Umm, Gabbert never had a season close to Bortles 2015. Theres a large difference.Gabbert hasnt even had a season close to this year either.
Quote:I'd just trade for Jimmy G. Quote:@Nick_Wojton John Clayton told WGR Tom Coughlin would prefer #Bills over #Jaguars as a potential landing spot
Quote:Sam Kouvaris tweet from about 15 minutes ago:
"As it appears the Jaguars have moved on from the idea of Tom Coughlin as the head coach the criteria are: HC experience, winner, tight ship"
Can't find another message like this elsewhere.
Quote:And how in the world would John Clayton know that? Coughlin is way too smart to tell anyone that.
Quote:I'm warming to the idea of Marrone as a real candidate. He sounds intelligent, knows what he's doing, and has been successful at both the college and Pro level.
It keeps the offensive system relatively intact, allowing Bortles to focus on mechanics and fundamentals more than learning a new system. (Hackett hinted at this in his press conference)
I'm not saying he's necessarily my top choice right now, or the best choice right now. But he should get serious consideration.

We are trying to turn the ship around. Whatever Gus did didnt work, from defense to offense to coaching style to game planning to the environment in the locker room. People are riding a high because we won a nice game last weekend. I was there, it was a sweet victory and it really was a bright spot in a terrible season. But I'm not convinced it was the interim head coach who's solely responsible for this. I think a lot of this game was pride. The players played with their hearts on their sleeves and many keep mentioning the fact of the fans and wanting them to have a victory for the holidays. I think the emotional aspect of the game really played a big part in the victory.
