What gives you that idea? But to answer your question, no. They wouldn't have interviewed McDaniels yesterday if they had already come to terms with Shanahan.

Well thats why McDaniels and Shanahan are getting interviews. Their offenses are at the top of the league like Bradley's defense in Seattle. McDaniels is definitely not getting interviews based on his first HC stint in Denver.

I have nothing against that, it's just a lot of preference was put towards that experience after the season but as is the case, the best guy trumps everything

That cuz the only guy with HC experience and has won in the NFL is Mike Smith, the other guys who has been HC sucked the first time around

Doesn't surprise me McDaniels had a "strong" interview. Given his past relationship with Dave, I'm sure they had a great visit.
Doesn't mean he's their guy though.
