Quote:Oh I fully understand. I've seen in first hand. I know all the excuses and justifications.

We have no idea if he is blowing lines or not.

Yes, it is incredibly difficult to curb an addiction. This is why I'm surprised you feel good about him getting back on the field especially with news of him being at night clubs and driving around at 3:30 in the morning. It is also much harder to avoid alcohol when you surround yourself around it especially early on in your recovery. You can spin it any way you like, but these aren't good signs.

I give Justin the benefit because overall, he is a good human being (we have all seen the E60 with the young girl) who loves playing football. This is his last chance to make it work in the NFL and he knows it. It is for sure a good sign that he can have fun and party with friends without using drugs or alcohol. I'll eat the crow if I am proven wrong, but I really believe that he will be back and our #1 WR.
Rape a girl = OK

Blow a tire = NOT GOOD

Never charged. I have no idea if he did or not.

I know your trolling so keep on trollin on.

Him being a good human being has nothing to do with his addiction.. great human beings fall to addictions all the time. I'm not questioning who he is as a person. I'm stating these are not good signs for him to stay out of trouble.

OJ:  never charged.  I guess he didn't do it either.
Who stays up past 11? I get tired at like 9:30

Right, but I feel much better about putting my faith in Justin because he IS a great human being and he knows that this is his last shot. It can't feel good to be in his position and he isn't the type of person to want to let his organization down. I feel that you're overreacting to what happened a great deal.

Are you 90? I haven't gone to bed at 9:30 since I was about 10 years old.

Ok and there are plenty of examples of people who are innocent and we're never charged so what's your point? Oh your point is you have no idea. Great, me either.

You seem to know a lot about Blackmon. I won't pretend to know who he is as a person. To me, the fact that he knows this might be his last chance makes these things look even worse.
C'mon lets not bring Rapeis Winston into this.

As far as Blackmon, if the cops dont think alcohol or drugs were involved then thats a good news.  Maybe 3:30 is late but I know when I was 24 I was driving home that late plenty of times.  Hanging out with buddies, seeing a girl, etc...  it could happen.  Lets wait for more information.

I don't think anyone is saying he did something wrong law wise at least not at this point in the conversation.

Did you have two DUI'S by the time you turned 24?
He may have gotten up early to go fishing.

Quote:Wow, as I said before, some people here won't be satisfied until this man is on another team having his hall of fame career....smh...

Look at the jumping to conclusions in this thread, and it was totally unfounded.

Maybe instead of ultra quick judging, you should be happy that he didn't get hurt and that he's fine.

There was no alcohol or drugs involved (allegedly), so I see it as nothing more than some back luck. Or can't a tire blowout happen to anyone?...

I totally 100% agree.

He was out on a holiday weekend, the biggest drinking holiday of the year, and his tire blew out. Im glad he wasn't hurt and wasn't drunk and that nobody else was hurt. He will be a jag and he will have over 10 TDs this year. Some of you must just need something to [BLEEP] about. Hes a young guy with money. Leave the kid alone he hasn't shown that he is or isn't fixing his drinking problem so wait on judging him. He doesn't hurt our a cap numbers and is a top WR in the league. I believe he will be fine.

This almost seems like satire.

I'm in agreement with you. He will be a critical part of the rebuilding effort and will turn into a prime time, elite WR. His YPG were up there with the best of them last season with Henne and Gabbert slinging the dots; granted the sample size was small, that is still a pretty impressive feet. I really hope this guy is able to realize the full extent of his talent in Jacksonville!
I really hope he doesn't get addicted to blowing out tires.
How is this even a thread or story?

He needs to find an addictive transportation service so he do whatever it is that he's doing but keep HIS name out of the news.

I really hope you guys can save my post and in 3 years when JB is tearing it up in the league you can say I told you so. Honestly, I don't want to be right.
