My biggest concern with Blackmon would be whether he'd ever reach the point where he could be out without supervision in the early hours of the morning and not be drinking or self-medicating. The one thing we've actually learned from this story is that he can.

True, that's a good way of looking at it.

Understandable but w/o truly knowing why he was suspended the second time is reasoning enough for me to give him the benefit of the doubt. He simply could've been late (no show) for a drug test which is the same as failing a drug test...

There are a thousand reasons for Blackmon to be out at that time as many posting in this thread have indicated. Those assuming he was partying or about to party have little knowledge of life outside of their own to come to that conclusion even though it's absolutely an assumption.

maybe blackmon has a sleeping disorder or mental illness and has spent years drinking it away?  now that he has stopped (cross fingers) he is finding other outlets?

my money has always been on a no show bc he know he'd blow the alcohol or another short lived drug test.

It doesn't seem to matter. At three am he was up to no good according to some on here.
