Quote:"You got me coach. You're right, the only possible thing I could be doing a 3:30 was going to Main St. to pick up transgender prostitutes."
I have no idea where the transgender prostitutes are. I will defer to your far greater knowledge on the subject.

Only if he's ripping them off with intent to sell!
Dang it! I knew I shouldn't have bought that pillow off him.

You mean your day never brought you on take your son to work day?
Quote:The first amendment is being respected.
How about you try to respect the 5th?
Quote:Doesn't matter what he says, you'd probably just say he was lying!
Guess if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't take the 5th amendment either.

Trying to think of a scenario where a trip to Walgreens would require me to take the 5th. :whistling:
Nope, can't think of one. If fact, I'll admit it.....I went to Walgreens on Thursday.

You've never been pulled over?

Obviously you only take the 5th if you have something to hide. Which would make it pointless.
I'm guessing you'd be okay with the cameras installed in your house then? I mean if you have nothing to hide...

I'm sure you would love to make it public knowledge if you were at Walgreens because you had a case of the mud butt.
Quote:Does it matter he was in a car accident? Sure. He was clear of any drugs/alcohol being involved, he isn't being charged with anything and he isn't injured. Do you really think they are going to grill him about who was in the car with him?
I don't know about "grill", but I expect that, given his history, they will have a few questions about where he was coming from/going to, had he been to a bar, etc.. I'm sure they would like to know.if there were others with him who had they been drinking.
If so, they might feel he exercised poor judgement by putting himself in that situation. Then again, they might appreciate that he had been exposed to alcohol and made the right choice. Ultimately, the truth could prove that he has become more responsible and serve him far better than a deception.
The accident probably doesn't matter, but the circumstances surrounding his actions of that evening may matter very much to them.

The thread isn't dumb. Just some of the responses are borderline moronic.
Quote:You've never been pulled over?
Not sure what you think the connection is. Sure, I've been pulled over. I wasn't drunk, high, driving without a license or in a stolen car. No unregistered handgun on the front seat, bag of coke on the dash or illegal aliens in the trunk. There wasn't an outstanding warrant for my arrest and I hadn't just robbed a convenience store.
In short, I had nothing to hide.

So why are you avoiding the question?
WHERE WERE YOU GOING?!! AND WHAT DID YOU BUY AT WALGREENS?!!!!

"mud butt"? Again, you know more than I. FYI the 5th, in the context in which it's used here, grants protection from self-incrimination. So, unless you're suggesting Blackmon was doing something illegal, it would not be applicable.

Dimetapp, my daughter had a cold. See Justin, it's that simple.

The Supreme Court has held that "a witness may have a reasonable fear of prosecution and yet be innocent of any wrongdoing. The privilege serves to protect the innocent who otherwise might be ensnared by ambiguous circumstances." Ohio v. Reiner, 532 U.S. 17
WOW...it must be the deadzone...17 pages on such a non issue...he was out at 3:30 AM...OMG lets castrate the man on the 6 o'clock news...he wasn't drunk...he wasn't high...who cares...he is hopefully turning a corner and will be ready for the regular season.

Out in that area of town...maybe he was going to the airport for a early morning flight. There isn't much going on out in that area at 3:30...
C'mon Khan, hire this guy 2 full time Chauffeurs. Bad things seem to happen when Blackmon is behind the wheel.

Doesnt that make the thread dumb?
If I am a teacher and the majority of my students are dumb, doesnt that make my class dumb?
