Quote:Watkins is more like Harvin than Blackmon.
I can see that, he's a combination of two Imo. He has Harvins speed and quickness in short areas , but Blackmons ability to out physical defensive backs.

They aren't the same.
Watkins is a bonafide #1.
Blackmon is a perfect #2, if he can get on the field.

My biggest question is if he plans to keep the dreads. Dreads = Faster & Stronger. If he intends to get rid of them like Julio did, no thanks

I would do this trade in a sec from multiple first rounders form Det.

Sammy Watkins posted this pic on instagram. I hope Det. calls Dave and a deal gets made. Switch 1st rounders this year, their 2nd this year, their 1st and 3rd next year.

Quite a few different ways we could go with the 10th pick too. Guard, DB, WR, etc.

Id love extra picks as much as the next guy, but going all the way to 10 is a bit of a drop. You don't want to end up in no-mans land where all of the top guys are gone.
Would not want to go G there for sure, and that is very high for the CB Gilbert when you can get that position in later rounds...
Maybe DT Donald, who would rotate with Marks...but all 3 pass rushers could easily be gone by then, and if you want a WR that high just take Watkins. Otherwise wait until rounds 2 or 3 or 4 with the depth this year at that spot.
Point is you have to be careful not to move back too far, unless the trade partner just throws you insane value for the move. You need a target, or else another trade partner to move again.
That is why Atlanta makes such a nice partner. They don't need to give us insane compensation, and we still get a top 6 guy.

I'm starting to like Watkins over Mack (if Clowney is gone) as well. When you have a chance, you get them. We haven't had anyone special at that position since Jimmy. Not one that hasn't gotten himself suspended, that is... (and I'm not counting on him being around anymore.)

Clowney and Watkins are the best 2 players in this draft (esp at positions of need). Also as I have said regardless of which QB you like most, is that if this were a normal year where the top talents weren't O-Line then none of these QBs would even be considered top 10 picks....let alone top 5.

I think the pick for JAX is between Clowney, Watkins, Mack and Bridgewater in that order. Maybe Dave can trick CLE or OAK into trading up for a QB and we snag Mack or Watkins in. I'm ok with us drafting Watkins at the three because he's going to a monster on the field. Jags already have a boatload of picks later in the draft, so a trade up could come into play.
As long as they get any of the four I mentioned i'll be happy.

I'm inclined to agree with you and if you want to take what the team is doing in FA into account, your list & order makes perfect sense.
