Ran a 4.34 today....not his best. His strength is his initial burst though.....this guy will be special. I would be surprised if he falls past 5. Pro Bowl potential.

According to this draft pick value chart,
http://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp
The # 3 pick is worth 2200, the # 19 pick is worth 875. That's a difference of 1325. So IF YOU GO BY THIS DRAFT PICK VALUE CHART, then you have to give the # 19 pick plus picks worth a total of 1325. That would take more than the entire rest of Miami's draft. All their picks. And then some more. But only if you go by that draft pick value chart.

The thing about Watkins is I keep hearing how deep this WR class is. You can find a starter on day two, supposedly. I would rather go for Barr or Mack because those kind of impact pass rushers are much harder to find. I wouldn't be up in arms if we took Watkins though because he looks like a lock to be a big time playmaker.

Lots of guys can be starters. Watkins looks to be "special". A game changer. I definitely could see him going two.

Well, Caldwell was with ATL when they drafted Julio Jones...

I have no idea why anyone would take Watkins with a draft that is stupid deep at WR.

Exactly.
This WR class is so deep, taking Watkins at 3 would be foolish. If another team wants to give the Jags a sweet trade of draft choices so that the other team can take Watkins at 3, then be my guest. Stud WR like Adams and Benjamin will be there later.

Because......he's the best.
Adam Schein rates him as the best offensive player in the draft. I agree.

One could say the same about QB.

The Rams have to think hard about Sammy Watkins. He would compliment Tavon Austin very well.

Believe me.....they are.....but they need an OT badly as well.....they have 2 picks in the first round so I think they will address both of those positions

Theres some decent QB prospects that could be there in rounds 2-4, but nowhere near as deep of a class as WR

I look at them as somewhat similar as "speed guys". I think WR like Evans or Benjamin would "compliment" Austin much better.
