Very physical.. Always getting a few extra yards. And he uses his body well in terms of possibly injury himself (knock on wood). The way he gets those yards by getting low and driving with his feet is great.

now imagine if Blackmon was back. The mismatches those could create would be deadly.. Even if Henne was QB.
Not sure what you're all gushing about from that youtube cut up. It was pretty much everything I've ever said about the guy. Looks small out there, and thats vs college players. I think if he tries to play the same style in the pro's he'll be on IR by week 6. Many screens/ short pass crap. I think I saw 1 or 2 longer/ nice plays, 1 being the 25 (or so) yard TD in the first half of the footage....

In a deep WR draft, using pick 3 on that would be foolish.

dude you are blind. All you can see is the negative. I feel sorry for you.
Watkins is over-rated. He doesn't run routes. A large amount of his game consists of simply jogging slightly to catch a screen pass. He will not be much of a threat to NFL defensive personnel. His game is way too limited. Literally a pick-six machine.

You don't draft a wide receiver project in the first round. Most times these explosive guys blow up right in your face.

Matt Jones, Reggie Williams, Justin Blackmon, and R. Jay Soward ring a bell?

Draft Sammy Watkins? I don't think so.

Watch ALL the cut ups TMD. Each game he's the best player on the field. I can't believe you weren't impressed with that Ohio St game!

If you think that's worth a top 3 pick, I feel sorry for you.

Go to sleep kid.

I saw a pretty good player out there in Watkins, I'm not saying he's garbage.....but definitely not worth pick 3. I'd rather have Evans, of the 2. (and I wouldn't take Evans as high as 3, either)

Peter Warrick got selected 4th overall, IIRC, so Watkins could get selected in the top 5....he's just not worth a pick that high. Neither was Warrick.

Can you just please take the time.. Go to google and type in Sammy Watkins Draft Breakdown and watch the games he played in this year. He's unbelievable. Just watch them so you can change your mind because we are going to select him.

I'm a fan of Bridgewater, but as of now, he's not worth a pick that high either. Watkins is the second best player in the draft.

don't even bother arguing with him.. It's his way or no way. It's like arguing with a 5 year old.

Much more warranted than the player you want to be selected at #3...

Whatever. We understand Watkins is a flat out weapon and really hope he's in a Jaguars uniform next season.

We really need a WR...

and the funny thing is Watkins dosent even resemble Warrick.

and as I eluded to earlier.. Just imagine a Blackmon/Watkins combination in the future? How scary would that be?

It would be scary deadly with Shorts and Sanders. We need that QB! He's out there somewhere.. We will find you!

Not scary at all. Blackmon is basically finished. The Jaguars don't expect him back. Does Watkins play wide receiver? There are twenty wide receivers in this draft that can do the exact same thing Watkins does and much more. Look beyond the short screen play and there's really nothing else he can do.
