4.4 is just another guy in this NFL, especially at the skill positions.

Blackmon ran a 4.46.
Quote:No, because I've listed four players that I'd be happy with the Jags selecting at 4.

The board however, seems to be putting all their cow chips in the Mack/ Watkins bandwagon.

Please answer this, you keep saying how we're all on their bandwagon, but how is it any different than you with matthews/bridgewater? It seriously isn't any different.
Quote:WELL over a year ago.

The weight hasn't come back up.

In your expert medical opinion, can you tell us all how jaw surgery impacted his overall build? The frame isn't built for much more weight. He's dainty no matter how much you try to plump him up.

Bridgewater trying to put on more weight would be like me trying to look like Lou Ferrigno. It's not gonna happen.

I never touted Blackmon as having burner speed.

and again, Blackmon PLAYS like the bigger WR's.

Yeah, because the 40 yard dash is end all with speed, you run the same way on gameday in pads.

He must go up and snatch that remote from his buddy sitting on the couch just like Calvin Johnson would snatch a fade route.

And Watkins plays faster than his 40 times.... soooo

The 40 time is as irrelevant for Blackmon as it is for Watkins.

Watkin's game speed looks pretty good to me.  But, it's not about his speed.  It's his build, right?  Try to keep track of what you're using as your primary argument here, princess.

I'm aiming for PREMIUM positions at the pick, who are also at the level of play/ ability that could make them top 5 at their position as pro's.

I'm not the one suggesting we select a WR or LB at 3.

Quote:He's just projecting.  Most of us get it.  He'll be melting down Thursday night.  Just wait.

I think that's a conclusion. Personally, like I said, if we go Bridgewater/Manziel (which I think is ridiculously unlikely), I won't get upset. If we take one, I will most definitely back Caldwell, because he must see something in them. I just don't want a RT, it's stupid and not the smart way to go with an already solid and improving RT. Watkins? Mack? Those are my two favorites, but it doesn't mean I will get pissed off if we don't take one.

For him though? It's going to be [BLEEP] from day 1 to training camp and beyond. I can't wait.

Even though there is evidence of Watkins going up and getting it and making other players miss while also running over people...ok.

Its about several factors. Including the type of game he has. That screen/ short pass [BLEEP] he ate up college defenses with ain't going to garner him much success in the NFL.
Quote:glad you finally admitted it

It's so obvious in his "analysis"

You continue to sidestep the question.

How is our love for Mack/Watkins considered a "bandwagon", and yet you're doing the EXACT same thing with Bridgewater/Matthews?
The only question I have about Watkins at this point is his ability to get off of the jam at the LOS.

If you notice, Clemson tended to play him off of the LOS, often making him the motion guy.

This, plus a fear of his speed/playmaking ability, had guys playing off of him to some degree, allowing him clean releases.

I wonder how he would fare if a big, physical man corner like Revis, Talib or Peterson jammed him at the line.

Otherwise, I have no questions about Watkins.

And guess what? I showed you tape just a couple days ago of him doing plenty of other stuff besides screen/short passes. And yet you just ignored it and disappeared.

It's not his fault his coaches played a winning brand of football and played to what was unstoppable for defenses.
LOL at TMD aiming for "premium positions" at the pick but also wanting a RT at #3...

You were all up on the Barr-train three months ago...... What gives??

Because he's going to the hall of fame...duh.

Watkins game speed actually reflects his 40 time.

Blackmon, like most of the greats, plays faster than his timed speed.
