Quote:And look at the Ohio State game, how he has to slow down and come back for the ball.
Boyd routinely under threw Watkins, and yet Sammy could slow down, make a spectacular play, and still score.
Definitely not what I'd want at 3.
Quote:now you are just reaching.
Demaryius Thomas and Calvin Johnson both came from a read option program but scouts saw their potential. I'm not saying Watkins will be Megatron but you get my point.
Exactly. Watkins is nothing near megatron but people are trying to advocate drafting him at basically the same spot.
Demarius Thompson went #22. My point is Watkins talent fits somewhere in the middle not at #3.
Quote:No, we're enjoying it.
I'll be enjoying the excusies next year and the following when Watkins proves out to be the 2nd tier WR that I suggested he'd translate to in the pro's.
Quote:HEY MAAA! CAN WE GET A MEATLOAF?!
MOM MEATLOAF!!! I never know what she's doing down there

Bingo,
Quote:Oh, what are we supposed to be betting on a family board? 5000 large???
A sig bet is fine.
For you, 5000 large equals $50.00 in pennies.
It's okay. You've been compared to a 13 year old girl more than once here, so you can have your little sig bet. Not sure why anyone would bother tracking this for the sake of a signature on an internet message board, but if it makes you feel more manly than the tweener you are, go for it.

We'll be enjoying the tap dancing diva. No excuses necessary because I'm sure there's a post somewhere where you've said something positive about Watkins so that you can come back and claim you were a big fan from the get go.

Right. He's not the most physically talented wide receiver in NFL history.
I guess NBA teams should not draft a small forward with the first pick because they are not Lebron James.

Don't listen to Watkins booster club. You're on point. Watkins doesnt' deserve to be drafted at 3, overall. Around 10 overall, or after a trade down, yes.

You know what, I will have some meatloaf. Lets have some meatloaf!

Depending on the talent.....not 3rd
overall.... :whistling:
Mack or Watkins. That will be the pick without question.
Quote:Yes, Predator is the bee's knees when it comes to WR evaluation for sure.
Regarding Reggie Williams:
If Predator and I actually cared enough to waste time and research all the bad player evaluation/ predictions of some of you, we'd find a bunch, too. Its lame that thats your M.O. as a poster, citing others bad predictions.

I dont know if he is worth the 3rd pick or not but you cant deny the talent. If he is worth the 7th then to me he's worth the 3rd as well. Unless of course there was not trade done option.
Quote:That extra .02 really makes a difference between he and Steve Smith...
Jordan Todman runs a 4.40 and he is a backup RB.
Megatron 4.35. That is top of the draft speed.
If you go .04 the other way from Watkins you have Clowney.
Sure he is fast in college but running in the 4.4s is not rarefied air in the NFL.

You could say the same about Bridgewater... in fact, most do. Watkins however is no doubt going top 5.

And Bridgewater shouldn't be taken before the middle of the first round.
Watkins is an elite top five talent.

In other words, please don't do any research to see how weak the evaluation skills are.

LOL! Johnson wasn't even the first pick. Even megatron got passed by and he was considered the greatest receiving prospect of all time.

Well, if he's no doubt going top 5, there are 5 teams that don't know squat about player evaluation. These are teams that should be calling the McDonalds just off the Jersey Turnpike at exit 65B. Ask for Pedro.
