Please no Press Taylor as OC. I don't really even know why but everyone on twitter roasts him relentlessly. I will trust them.

Yeah it was a black eye for the franchise. But at least we stumbled onto a decent result. Could have been a whole lot worse.

For all we know Tony worked his magic

It would almost have to happen for Pederson to take the job, right?

I would certainly hope so

Phew... this would be one huge sigh of relief. Let's hope the Bisaccia family Twitter frenzy is because he'll be special teams coach and Fangio will be defensive coordinator. That would be a super haul. Also, get Spielman in there to overrule Baalke and demoralize him into resigning in a few months.

That would be incredible

I know that's what worries me. Everyone links Taylor with Pederson, but also everyone keeps saying how awful Taylor is.
FWIW, only 2 Super Bowl winning HCs ever made it back to another Super Bowl after being fired and joining a new team as HC.

Only 7 out of 15 have had winning seasons with a new team as HC.
If it's the right hire, the drama (process) will be forgotten. I just hope the jags have a good offensive scheme and play calling this season in 2022
Thank the lord Khan fell backwards in to a good choice. I said it before this if you want an experienced coach it's Pederson, of you want up and coming it's Leftwich. Happy with this.
I'm okay with the choice. But the process?

Anyway, I welcome the ice cream jokes come our first loss.

No clue who that is either. But Demetrius panning Schwartz as possible D-coord is off base. Schwartz is solid and brings the heat, just like Cullen.

The jags said they would consider him but they wanted to do an open search if Leftwich wasn’t for baalke.

Well, that certainly paints things in a different light.  I said last week that the only fair compromise I saw was that Shad agree to fire Baalke,  then he, Tony, and Leftwich would interview candidates for the GM position, one of which would be Adrian Wilson.  If Leftwich wasn’t willing to at least meet Shad halfway, then it’s hard to blame Shad for looking elsewhere.

It also places that tweet from the Senior Bowl earlier today in much better context.

If your source is right (and I have no reason to believe otherwise), the likely scenario is that Spielman comes in as VP, and Baalke is basically on probation and likely gone after the draft.
This is good

But I would like to say one thing, he would not have been a Superbowl winning coach had it not been for one blown call

Schwartz means we'd be going back to a 4-3 with a lot of wide 9 alignments.

Jags need to bring the heat like cullen did. With a good offense (hopefully) it will be nice to see how this defense can play with leads and with the addition of a couple more pieces
