Asking to interview other coaches who you can’t interview til after the SB? Offering the job to multiple candidates (rumored) before landing on Pederson.
And now, if they don’t hire Spielman (which I think they will), it will look even worse. Pederson with Baalke will blow up. Pederson with Spielman and Baalke is salvageable.
Whos the clown now
Desperation isn't a good look.
But to answer your question, I'd say see your avatar.

Hahaha wait. This is the best you got?
Me saying Pederson is a very good coach and will help Trevor a lot?

Oh. I was wrong on that but at least there was some precedent on that prediction.
Happy to be wrong!

Although I would say to give it time, it's also true that Doug and Jim Harbaugh aren't really the same person.
Daboll now 4-1 with what is arguably a worse roster than we have. Now that we are 5 games in, can we ask the question 'Did we make the right choice'?

Daboll and Pederson were the 2 best coaches. It was rumored Daboll wanted the NYG job. So yes I think we made the right choice. With that said i think he should give Press the play calling duties and he can coach

I like what Pederson is doing, I just wish Taylor could get him to call runs in the Red Zone.

If he needs to get him to call the plays he should just give him the play calling and see how he does.

Nah, the results are really good so far, he just needs the nudge to keep him from being completely pass happy.
Just the latest ring leader of the circus.
Lawrence needs to execute better. Doug has done fine play call wise. It's the eight turnovers [three being on final drive opportunities to tie the game or win it] and bad throws that were missed TD's that have cost you in all three games.
I think Pederson has to start adapting his focal points offensively and slowly start working Lawrence back into the offense to rebuild his confidence and trust in him. Two bad weeks in a row is enough for me. Let's not [BLEEP] around and find out and make it three due to Lawrence.
Next Sunday? I gameplan an offense and defense that only requires me to throw it no more than 25 times with Lawrence to win the game. With more than 85% of those attempts being short to midfield route designs, screens and bootlegs that should be there and QB friendly. Cannot trust Lawrence to hit the deep ball if our lives depended on it.
It's been made evident in five games now. Even in the two wins it was mostly the short and sweet stuff. No shame in scaling back the playbook and shortening the field of vision up for a struggling QB two weeks in a row failing to protect the ball, hit the long plays and missing wide open opportunities.

Agreed, but unfortunately , good DC's eat that offensive strategy alive.

That's my issue, a close ultimately one score game with a back who was getting 7 a clip and we have the QB throw it 47 times including inside the 10? The fix is in the tactics.

Completely agree.
That short hail Mary pass was embarrassing, but in his defense he had thrown it 46 times prior to that.
Coach needs to balance it out more. Especially when we weren't playing catch-up.

That's fine. That's what good coaching is for though. Line it up, let them see it and run it at them anyway. Last two weeks have been bad and Lawrence has a lot to do with that.
Maybe the big sloppy's need to be hitting the sleds after practice everyday this week and Lawrence needs to start using his legs a lot more. I don't care what it looks like just as long as they win.

When the coach trusts the QB to make the reads, that he's missed two weeks in a row, and when the coach trusts the QB to not turn the ball over, which he's done, 7 times now in 2 games, and, he continues to sail his passes early?
Yeah. Makes a lot of sense to change the play calling up a bit. Can't be pissy with the coach and play calling when the [BLEEP] was working in the home opener and on the road in L.A.
Those play calls got you into the redzone. That interception changed the entire dynamic of the game today. The only change is Lawrence [BLEEP] the bed two weeks in a row. Not the play calling.
Only 54 snaps on offense last week due to 4 fumbles and 1, again, COSTLY interception by your QB in the redzone with points left on the field AFTER the play calling got you there.
