Oddly enough, I don't feel the need to disclose personal information online to a bunch of strangers. I guess I'm kinda funny that way...

But anyways I am a student.
New topic: what do you do for a living?
Quote:How are posts like this allowed? Just stirring the pot and completely avoiding the thread topic.
Anyways, I don't see much difference in the team now and the team Mularkey had. Then again, we also had a completely incompetent GM back then...
Glad someone is pointing out these worthless 'posts'. Where are the moderators?

That 2002 roster had Fred and Jimmy, so I'll give 'em that. But Henderson and Stroud weren't to their potential till after that year so I'm not including them as you will. The overall roster really wasn't all that talented. Can you name any of the LB from that 2002 team? Their DB were pretty much awful. How about at DE?? Brackens was gone/ injured by then. Their OL was suspect. No Boselli. No Searcy.
Where was all this "talent" in 2002??
Sounds like you just don't want to give Tom Coughlin or coaching in general, any credit here.
No the roster wasn't stacked but the idea is that he had people to build a scheme with. Two defensive tackles to create a cover 2 scheme with was huge. I don't think Gus had anything like that to build around.

What exactly did I do in this thread to make you say that?
You are misinformed.
Quote:Johns Henderson and Stroud were rookies.
Quote:Yes, you're right. Stroud was a 2nd year guy....but the main point is still there...
The 2002 combo of Stroud and Henderson may have been the best DT tandem in the NFL.

In 2002??? :ermm:
You sure you don't mean 2003, 2004 or 2005?

TMD is the Skip Bayless of this board. No matter what he says, people are just going to bash him and tell him to go cook fries. Y'all need to lighten up and let the man voice his opinion.... Just like you.
Go Blake!

I'm with you but you gave a very bad example.
9 times out of 10 skip is a complete moron and talks out of his rear
We'll see. I think Gus will be given adequate time, I think that was part of his deal. Maybe in the middle of next year, if the team starts out the same way as they did this year (which I'm about 70% sure that they will), then pull the plug.
