Can’t press charges if you “press“ your a-ss

I thought the same thing until Urban had claimed she was only dancing? or did I misunderstand something?  If he sticks with that story, why wouldn't she decide to get paid with a civil suit?   It is also possible he is her sugar daddy paying her way through college.  She seems pretty comfortable with him touching her (like it wasn't the first time), and maybe he wanted to stay in Ohio to be with his "girlfriend".  Something more to this story, just how long before it all comes out, I wonder.
A recap of Urban's jax career so far:

- Hired Doyle, who resigned over controversial past
- Signed and cut Tim Tebow
- Drafted Etienne
- Admitted to actually wanting Kadarius Toney
- Brought up vax status as potential criteria for player cuts which was a violation of NFL rules if true
- Admitted to not knowing waiver process
- Didn't address the TE position and traded a hopeful commodity and 3rd round pick in Oliver for peanuts.
- Fined for going over limits for OTA practices
- Cut Trevor's reps with the 1st team down to nil for a faux QB "competition"
- Traded our 9th overall pick from last year
- 0-4 start
- Basically ignored our one offensive player who was a guaranteed commodity for our first two games (Robinson)
- Stayed behind in Ohio after a tough loss leaving his team and staff high and dry
- Caught on video with the lap dance drama
- Cancelled his team meeting and didn't address the team together
- Directly spoken to by Khan and caused a public ruckus.

I am sure this list could be expanded

How fast some fans turned on their team and starting making demands for change just after four weeks and a female that had bad intentions toward Coach Urban. That was actually quick, like 0-60 in 2.2 milliseconds.

NH3...

Well to be accurate, some fans turned on them the day he was hired. At least they're consistent!

This is true so I adjust that speed to 1.2 milliseconds.

NH3...

The only one I'd contest is dealing Henderson, that guy needed to go. Other than that you put together a pretty solid list, though you forgot trading Oliver with such a bad TE room and, the really big one, getting fined for the overly active OTAs.

Shipped off the only talented receiving TE on the roster for peanuts before camp only to be scrambling in weeks 3 and 4 to find a serviceable receiving option at TE.

Completely squandered literally the only sure-fire offensive weapon on the team for 2 weeks of reg season hanging his rookie QB out to dry in the process.

The list has gotten really long in a relatively short period of time. Feels like he's in over his head.

I was opposed to the hire before it was announced. I haven't and won't change that position, Meyer is a dirt bag and he'll continue to damage this franchise as long as he's allowed to remain here.

Edited to add point 1.

Him resigning now would be the best option for all parties.

Adding OTA's. Aye carumba
This incident has single handedly killed any chance he had at another college coaching gig; certainly no AD would want a creepy predator lurking around thier athletic Dept. Oh wait a minute, Petrino, Freeze and Lundy are still coaching right? On to the Trojans! Perfect name for his next stop.

He's a winless rookie in the big League who appears to have no understanding of the professional culture. Just like Spurrier, Saban, Holtz and countless others who never made the jump.

Founding coach of the Bucs and former USC head coach John McKay made that jump. Went from owning the current losing streak of 0 - 26 in 76 - 77 to the NFC Championship game in 1979. Of course, Urban Meyer is no John McKay.

"What do you think about the execution of the offense?"

"I'm in favor of it"

If Urban had half the sense of humor and self awareness McKay had this would be alot more easier to tolerate.

Not sounding good

Wow, this is has locker room killer written all over it. Probably effectively over for Meyer now, even if Khan isnt going to fire him.

I was there. It's really interesting how similar the trajectories of the Bucs and Jags were for their first 20 years.

I would not necessarily go as far a creepy predator for a description, but Urban is also the guy who enabled a domestic abuser and person who sexted from inside a college locker room and facility. He’s not exactly a paragon of moral esteem

I don't have a problem with that as long as they don't say they want the Chiefs OC instead. That would be a real disaster in so many ways.

I'm on the fence here. I expected Meyer's scummy personality to be overshadowed by wins - some wins. I hope everyone understands this franchise needs success and a ruthless coach who will do anything to win should be the recipe. So far Meyer has mostly delivered half of the deal. The wrong part.
