Yes, it must be what he's trying to say. Gruden also had a long expensive contract so there are similarities.

Shame on the owner for cashing in instead of being realistic.
Wait, a guy who spent his entire career convincing kids to commit to his program would overpromise?
The devil, you say!

I read it more as "respect to a guy who owns up to past missteps that would force the owner's hand otherwise."
There is a gigantic difference in the actions of each coach and their plausible outcomes. It was a dumb move, sure, but insulting the players' mamas would have been a more egregious offense, and even that is probably not worthy of a firin'.
After we lose in London, maybe Urbz can find a bar where he can continue his two finger shuffle lessons.....and stay there!

He's been publically shamed enough. I'm sure he will never ever look in the direction of strange ever again!
On a side note, Oh how I hope we win sunday

Like Urban exploring the indynoplace this post is just another in long line that shows someone is in over their heads.

Funny. You're such an apologist.
Only 76 more pages to go to reach the Tebow thread.
Why would UM resign? If he gets fired, he collect his entire contract which is massive.

I was just thinking that. This thread lets the Tebow haters and the Puritans unite in outrage.
If nothing else, UM has given the people who are unable to master their emotions a convenient foil.
A turd then, a turd now, and a turd tomorrow.

I was more upset about marrone and gus. If urban does 25% as much of their losing after having some of the time they had to fix this crap, then I will be thinking different. Again, its WAY to early to judge good or bad.

No, it's not too early. The guy is so far out of his depth he's drowning in front of our eyes every Sunday.

Why you grind so hard for him? He bad.
In 2018 when Ohio St. barely held off Nebraska for what would have been a huge upset Meyer said after the game that "Nebraska was a handful". 3 years later and Nebraska is still a handful for Urban.

I've been grinding for the jags for years, but I truly believe this team is near some winning. I hope.

He could have tried to boot him on the ethics clause but may be to late for that now.
