Ah, I see we've moved on to the sexist part of the defense.

Well someone has to judge the contest.  Who better than an owner with a "hands on" work attitude?
Once again I can't tell if this thread is serious, a trolling distraction, or a convenient excuse for those who don't like UM to drag him down.

It’s all of those.

Sometimes I read things or hear things people say and it's like we live in alternate realities.

D. All of the above
It used to be celebrated if a 40 or 50 something guy had a 20 something hardbody grinding on them and giving them attention.  Today it's frowned upon and attacked.

Instead, so many "armchair" coaches and GM's are suggesting that he should have been "studying 'tape'" which "tape" to them is replays on NFL network.

On the flight home nobody is "looking at tape" or otherwise.  When they land players and coaches get into their personal vehicles and go home for the weekend.  This is what happens every time win or lose.

People (including the media) have made this non-story bigger than it is.

Because you've been on so many flights home with NFL teams that you know so huh?

Also, people are frowning upon that grinding because his WIFE was at home baby sitting their grand kids while he was out playing hide the fingers with that 20 something hardbody. Him being married is kind of an important part you just so happened to leave out and that's why people are frowning upon it.
We’re still going on about this? Please let us win tomorrow, if only to make this thread go away. Ninja

It won’t. If we win it won’t count because they’ll carry on about how Tennessee is suffering injuries and were defeated by the Jets last week.
Is my sign for tomorrow going to be frowned upon?

Instead of 10 Toes Down I'm going with Two knuckles deep!

Naw wont have to, Urbs has already said it isn't on him, that it's all on the players and staff. Hopefully the players can pull out a win for us tomorrow.

Although you're not wrong about injuries, like half of Tennessee's team was on the injury report all week, while we only had 3.

I flew home with the team once (ironically from Nashville).  I don't remember if we won or lost.  We never saw the coaches and most players were either "nodding off" or just listening to their music.  There was very little chatter going on.

When we landed most players "disappeared" pretty quickly.

As far as the "incident", many "Karens" like you make it out to be more than it probably was.

Countless amounts of former players and some HCs have come out and blasted Urbs for not taking the team flight home, so I'd say there's more to it than that. They've also said that there is indeed film watching happening, especially after tough losses. Michael Irvin said Jimmy Johnson used to do it all the time. That's probably part of the difference between coaches who are successful in the NFL and those who aren't. They're always trying to put in the extra work.

Of course everybody goes their own ways after they depart the plane, that's fine. Urbs could have easily (and should have) just hopped on another plane right back to Ohio.

As for the incident, I'm going to take it you haven't seen the videos because it's pretty clear what it was lol. I really don't care about him being a scumbag to his wife, we all knew he was one already. That's for them to work out. I just think him being so dumb and careless to get caught on video like that is funny.

I would take Marrone and Hackett over Urban and Bevell right now.

Marrone wasn’t a great coach and he never had a QB even close to the level of Trevor.

That and if he replaced Wash for a decent DC we would probably have a decent team right now and not this garbage.
This week we have the Titans, and next week is London, with a bye week after that. If we're 0-6, with an embarrassing loss in London, the bye week might be where Meyer gets fired.

I guess feel free to celebrate a man being flagrantly unfaithful to his wife in a public setting.

I think most of the people criticizing him skipping the flight are hearing that from former players and coaches. I know I heard Lageman (who typically defends the team wherever possible) said it was unheard of. So I will take their word that it matters over an armchair player.

I do wonder if having a franchise QB like Lawrence will make Khan less patient with HC's but if its going to cost him the reported $50m to fire Meyer then i cant see it happening soon. I mean Khans statement of his actions being 'inexcusable' and 'must regain our trust and respect' are strong words for an owner, especially for a HC 4 games into a career here.
