I can actually see the players rallying around their coach.  The one that’s bringing in hawt chicks their age or younger… aside from the moral aspect, seems like a cool dude.

I watched it. He took it on head on. I give him credit. Also, I give jp and lags credit too. They asked him the uncomfortable questions there. We all really hope the team comes out and plays their hearts out vs the titans. It's a rival that we hate probably the most and they are the division leader. Plus, the team needs to break this losing streak.

The grinding video is simply another illustration of roughing the kicker/passer

I don't understand how thinking the head coach not flying back with the team, except for extenuating circumstances like family/health emergencies, is fine. Him not being there creates a disjointed work environment/culture, especially with how this situation played out as the cherry on top.

If that's the case, why hold anyone on the team to any professional standards at all? Talk is cheap, it's those who walk the walk and lead by example that generally lead to successful outcomes.

Like I said in my previous post, people and players will most definitely "blow off steam" whenever and wherever they please, but there is still a professional standard that the majority of people in the NFL understand to engage in especially DURING the season - let alone in the middle of the week coming off a loss.

I had a feeling Urban was walking on thin ice when this came out and my fear for this team was that the players lose trust and respect for him as a coach, with all accountability and leadership dissipated because of this nonsense.

It's basically like "if our head coach is wild'n out in the middle of the week, why am I held to different standards/rules?" - and the player(s) proceed to do detrimental things that normally wouldn't occur or negatively affect them and the team.

The players have no excuses. They have been losing easily with distraction or not. Hopefully they get distracted enough to bring their A game and win one finally.

Honestly. At this rate, I don’t care how many games they win.

Just get Trevor through the season healthy and bring in the new coach. I had a lot of hopes for this season but it’s been pretty terrible and it’s only week 5.

That’s the biggest takeaway I got.  He was pretty much saying this had no bearing on getting the team ready, it
Was the capts/vets to get the team ready.  Well [BLEEP]!  Isn’t his job to have the team prepped and ready to go??

I guess we’ll see Sunday.  I can see both sides.  Either “coach don’t care, why should I” or “coach is one of us, way to go bro!”

But having 53 on the same page…???
