He’s garbage.

“I take the blame here but if it doesn’t work out, it’s on the veteran leadership.”

I genuinely can't understand how he thinks "the ball isn't in his court" to get our team ready to play a team this Sunday, and not just any team but a DIVISIONAL rival...

He has to be trolling at this point or purposely self-sabotaging.

That is LITERALLY his job.

Keeping him around at this point does more damage than good. He didn't even have the nuts to address the entire team at the same time

He is toast.

Yeah, when you’re 0-4 and care, you should fly back with “your” team.

The “who is this guy” image is a different woman than grind girl but from the same night.

You’d think.

I'm thinking the players will take a coach is one of us attitude. Players are young and understanding unlike some people who are stiffs and moral experts while being football experts at that. A bunch of life experts
His stupidity is insulting

Ahh.  That sheds some light.  Every post/vid I saw had a damn cation on it.  So I was confused whether the girl posted it or not.

If not having woman, who is not my wife, grind on me while I stick my fingers somewhere makes me a moral expert then yes…. I’m a moral expert.
^^ it's not the end of the world. None of us are his wife. It's their business.

This aged well....
At the point Urban should just embrace it and go heel.
I'm curious what's going through the mind of Dan Arnold.

Welcome to the dumpster fire that is the Jacksonville Jaguars organization!
And we chose Urban over the Kansas City OC coordinator why?

Oh right. golf buddies.

What gave you the impression that he isn't already?
(10-05-2021, 07:30 PM)enigma Wrote: [ -> ]I don't understand how thinking the head coach not flying back with the team, except for extenuating circumstances like family/health emergencies, is fine. Him not being there creates a disjointed work environment/culture, especially with how this situation played out as the cherry on top.

If that's the case, why hold anyone on the team to any professional standards at all? Talk is cheap, it's those who walk the walk and lead by example that generally lead to successful outcomes.

Like I said in my previous post, people and players will most definitely "blow off steam" whenever and wherever they please, but there is still a professional standard that the majority of people in the NFL understand to engage in especially DURING the season - let alone in the middle of the week coming off a loss.

I had a feeling Urban was walking on thin ice when this came out and my fear for this team was that the players lose trust and respect for him as a coach, with all accountability and leadership dissipated because of this nonsense.

It's basically like "if our head coach is wild'n out in the middle of the week, why am I held to different standards/rules?" - and the player(s) proceed to do detrimental things that normally wouldn't occur or negatively affect them and the team.

Completely agree and this is the one point that anyone whos been in the league, former player, current player, coaches, FO have all said theyve never seen in their careers. I have no idea what he was thinking with that decision.

Guys earning $12m a year, he couldnt get a flight back?

You’re missing the point completely.

It’s not just this one incident. It’s a multitude of bad decisions that he continues to make. Not to mention, ditching his team on their plane ride home after a brutal loss to the Bengals. Wouldn’t that have been a good time to talk to your team and build some culture? Show them that you’re a “family”? This is something he continues to preach and yet he chose to do something literally no other NFL coach has ever done.

There is no chance he lasts this season and if Sunday goes really poorly, he may not be the coach in week 6.
^^ Marrone would beg to differ. Look how bad he coached and was retained. What about gus? We have only had one good coach this entire franchise so far and that's the og coach back in the 90s. So with coach urban it's too soon to tell. He will get some time like it or not.

I think he resigns on Friday.
