I did discover one thing, Urban Meyer elicits very strong emotion in people.

Let me preface this by saying that I could be wrong on any one of these and if I am, I know I'll be corrected but:

Gus didn't break the off season rules resulting in losing multiple OTA practices next year along with a $100k fine for the Head Coach and a $200k fine for the team

Gus didn't fail to understand how free agency worked and the rules associated with it

Gus didn't hire an assistant coach who had been accused of racist and bullying methods

Gus didn't sign off on bringing in a former player who hadn't played in the league in over 8 years and had never played the position he was trying out for

Gus didn't split 1st team reps in training camp and the pre-season between a journeyman QB and someone who is widely considered to be a generational QB

Gus never failed to fly home with the team, let alone claim to be staying in another city to spend time with his grandchildren, only to be seen on video acting in a creepy and inappropriate manner with a college aged girl.  While I readily admit to never having been part of an NFL team or part of an NFL locker room, every single one of the ex players and ex coaches and current players that have talked about it, have stated unequivocally that not traveling home with the team is completely unheard of and it's just not done.

Then we get to the other Urban issues like:

Not having the team prepared to play on the 1st play of the 1st game of the season.

Failing at free agency - not getting anyone that was among their top targets, when we had more cap space then just about any other team

Not having your 6'6" QB ready and able to run a QB sneak 5 games into the season - even though that QB said he's comfortable with the play and would have been fine running it

Having a 1st and goal from the 5 yd line in what was the most important moment of the game, and was also the most important moment of the season to date - and not even having your best offensive player in the game.  Not even calling a running play until 4th and goal.  Not even knowing if your best offensive player was dinged up or not, not over-ruling the OC to say, "put our best player in the game" - you know, the one that was shredding the Titans all day long.....

Not having a kicker that can make a FG or an extra point.  Allowing Lambo to try to work his issues out on the field during games, and then activating another kicker that doesn't have an NFL leg.  It's not like he missed it wide right or left - it was short.  SHORT.  What NFL kicker in this day and age doesn't have the leg to hit a 52 yd FG?  I'd venture to say we  might be the only team with one.

Urban can't even answer questions post game about what happened - he constantly says he has to talk to Bevell or he has to ask Bevell about that.  Maybe he should be more involved so he actually knows what's going on during the games, and maybe even has some input?  Maybe he asks those questions sooner so he knows the answers?

I think Gus had a way worse roster too because of the rebuild
I do not even watch College football. There is way too much politics in college football for my taste. I don't care if Meyer was banging hookers every other day. The team is not competitive and just as bad as last year. With 2 first round picks and a boatload of salary cap I expected better. The arrow is not pointing up at all! I do not see a reason to be optimistic right now.

Agree with everything except that. Creepy why? it was the girl who was throwing herself at him, it's not like he was going after her while she wasn't interested.

Not when he was reaching for the promised land while they were both at the bar.

The grinding? Whatever... but the second video? He reached over for her.... area.... without any assistance from her.

Yeah but after what she just did? and it clearly didn't bother her. Please, that kind of movement from her... you are gonna tell me she was just being friendly?

I mean I'm looking at it from HIS perspective.. his wife is at home with his grandkids babysitting... and he's doing that. She's just a drunk idiot that wants to be able to tell her friends she grinded on Urban Meyer. She's a college kid.. he's in his 50s. Just a terrible look and definitely inappropriate.
Gus was a bad head coach, but he wasn't a snake and he wasn't a bad person. We also weren't completely beat down a franchise since we were coming off the mostly respectable JDR era.

Urban is a bad coach and an even worse person. Everyone who isn't a complete slave to their biases can see right through his [BLEEP].

That was funny.  He really looked like he had no idea what to do with the flag or how a challenge works.  Maybe he thought just waving it at the official could get a review without risking a timeout.

Not saying she wasn't interested and I do believe she initiated it, just saying that as a married 57(?) yr old man with grandchildren (that his wife was babysitting) to go where he went in the 2nd video, with a college aged girl - regardless of what she wanted - is creepy and inappropriate in my mind.  Does it translate to the team or to the football field? Probably not, it just speaks to his (lack of) character.

if I was 90 years old and had a 20 year old grinding on me, i'm going for it...

there's nothing creepy about it whatsoever, stop it. If you wouldn't go for it, you like boys/guys and that's all there is to it.

that being said, he's married.. that's the only thing wrong with it.

It's the play calling for me.. It's downright inexcusable and it's been that way on multiple occasions..

1&5 with 5 yards to a TD, you run your workhorse 4 times if you have to. That TD had JRob written all over it.. It's stupid calls like that and his off field antics that made me change my mind on him.

isn't that was the tacks did with Henry? I mean come on coaches, they're SHOWING YOU HOW IT'S DONE
