I love the absolutely unbiased term “Urban derangement syndrome”…. Yes anyone who feels like Urban is doing a bad job on the field and off the field is deranged. Super helpful to facilitating discussion. What a joke.
Did Urban commit a crime? No, almost certainly not. Is his relationship with this women morally concerning? Yes for two reasons. First, he is a married man. Second, there appears to be a customer/ client relationship between them. So it opens up harassment concerns from my standpoint.
Altogether is this incident in a vacuum a fireable offense? No, probably not. It does appear to be the cherry on top of a terrible job performance to this point. Hopefully we are rid of this inept coach soon.

Please. Urban gets some time.
Agreed. Serious discussion to fire him won’t start until next season if we’re still floundering. I don’t think that will happen, though.

Sexually assault someone young enough to be your daughter on video, get the full support of your owner and organization.
Shad might just be the worst...and Dan Snyder still exists.
Since when is playing grab [BLEEP] with a chick who is dry humping your leg sexual assault?? The dude is an jerk for cheating on his wife (unless they have that kind of relationship) but let’s not go completely hyperbolic with it.
It's not. Ol girl was loving every minute of it. It definitely was NOT assault.
It may be a lot of things... But it looked pretty frickin consensual to me.
The virtue signaling from all these faux feminist dudes these days is laughable.
Also Gruden resigned, they didn't fire him.

You don’t think they’re being a little hyperbolic in attempting to lay blame on Meyer because she decided to grind on him? I realize you’re on their side, but you seem to be at least a little more reasonable.
Sure, it wasn't assault. It was also his fault and he is to blame for this kerfluffle. We also don't know what went on before or after the film and those who threw out the "he was trying to block her with his arm" defense as just as guilty of seeing what they want as anyone else.

In the case of the incident in the bar, the moral outrage is contrived. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, it means UDS is causing it to be comically overblown. It was poor judgement on Urbs part no doubt. On the other hand, UDS has caused some people to equate the incident to sexual assault and him to a sexual predator which is utterly ridiculous.
I don't think it's contrived, the whole incident is embarrassingly unseemly. Not just the physical contact, but the entire circumstance of where and when it happened in relation to his responsibilities to this franchise and their disarray both on the field and off it. He behaved like a buffoon and then lied about it while trying to deflect the blame. Is she a gold digger? I dunno, but he shouldn't have been there for her to mine.

Her company works for his company, so it's not that far of a stretch. Of course if she's in sales she might've just been on the job.

You're so naive.
The girl was using him not for sex - I mean look at the man - he's never caused a female orgasm in his life - but the fame of grinding on Urban Meyer... but then he took it too far and started fingering her through her jeans. Brah - you're married - and the coach of a crappy team that you decided not to fly home with - instead you want to be knuckle deep in a very unattractive woman that people mistook for being in her late 30s while really being a 24 year old.

Not for someone in her 30s... but for 24? Yikes... too many bars that allow smoking.

This I can understand and debate. Everyone else keeps conflating pearl clutching with football.
It’s really weird.
I don't know that I've seen too many people saying that this incident is cause for him to be fired. I've said that I find it creepy and inappropriate - but that's my personal belief. Do I think the bar incident by itself should cause him to be fired or to resign in shame - no I don't, that's an issue between him and his wife and their family. Do I think on top of everything else he's F'd up since he's been here that it shows terrible judgement - yes I do. I've seen ex players and coaches state that it's "unheard of" for a coach to not fly home with the team, and that it was even worse after a bad loss and being winless. Since I've never played in the NFL, and I'd venture to say no one here has, I'll defer to those ex players and coaches and their thoughts on that part of it. That being said, it's the football decisions (or lack of decisions) that make me think the Jags should move on from Urban. Those gaffs have been documented in this thread and elsewhere, and it seems to me that Urban came into this thinking it would be different/easier than it's turned out to be and it's turning out to be much more work than he thought it would be. He thought he wouldn't be second guessed as much, whether it was hiring Doyle, bringing Tebow in or just the personnel decisions and in-game decisions. I don't see it getting any better, I don't see good judgement from him, and I don't want to waste more time waiting for him to decide that maybe he does have a lot to learn.....
I'm shocked none of the media outlets have secured an exclusive interview with the girl. Or, could she be getting paid more for her silence to not do a paid media interview.
When do they leave for London? Urbs will look for some Eurohoe to get caught on camera with

Or the image of her being the instigator doesn’t fit the current socio/political narrative.

Why would they? The only people interested are the trolls on this board and maybe people with an axe to grind.

Trust me, people are outraged by the inept job he has done as a head coach of this team. He may be the most clueless NFL coach I have ever seen.
