Haha. No doubt.
Ain't no party like a Jaguars party cause a jagswire party dont stop! Haha

Get off your high horse. He's at the bar talking among friends, maybe the wife isn't putting out, having a few drinks then some hot young girls starts rubbing her butt on his junk. I guarantee almost every man here would have a hard time handling the situation.
I really don't understand why people aren't getting it. Most people are not upset because some chick rubbed all over Urban, I don't think I've heard a single person say that. What I have heard is the fact he didn't ride back with his team that's a big issue. I've also heard peoples issues with the lies. I mean, in his apology he said "they were trying to get me out on the dance floor" no she wasn't she was grinding all over you, don't lie. He also said in his 2nd press conference that he cleared it way in advance, but then the next breath he says that he felt like they needed to clear their heads. Did he anticipate "way in advance" that they were going to lose, is that why they needed to "clearly their heads"? Our young QB was on that plan...watching tape, something our coach should have been doing.
I don't think if this was the only situation people would be calling for him to be fired, but put this situation with everything else since he's been hired...yea that's A LOT. Again, just for clarity, the issue isn't the contents of the video, it's that had he done the RIGHT thing the video never would've been made.

You are being so nit picky. You are thinking way too much about this. He could have cleared it ahead of time becuase he has family there. He could have wanted to clear his head because 0-4 sucks and was somewhat unexpected. He could have wanted to clear his head becuse he couldn't take a dump that day or because he was bored of his wife. Who cares. The point is that some people are just picking him apart. We get it. You dont like him or think he is a bad coach. It doesn't matter what the public thinks. All that matters is that the players are good with him which they seem to be. The owner is good with him which is most important. The boss has the final word. This season will play out and it's still early. I'm Not saying the jags are going to win. I hope so but I'm not judging everything this soon. Even if I didn't like the coach, it's pointless to judge this soon. 1-15 last year after the previous regime dumped mostly all the good players to get Lawrence and rebuild. Come on. Let's be realistic here.

Deal with it.
I deem all of these highly plausible. The only one who can (or would) change their outcome is Urbz himself.
The only one I have a skepticism with is the last one. I don't know if he'll want to keep paddling upstream if the team isn't looking to be a quick winner. I think at the very least he finishes this year and then reevaluates.

I think you're supportive rather than ambivalent because he's the Jaguars coach and you want the team to succeed. I want him gone because he's damaging the chances of them succeeding. We really want the same thing, we just disagree on Meyer's ultimate impact on that outcome. If you were truly ambivalent I think you would be more objective about that list of franchise damaging things he's done the last 8 months and come to a different conclusion.
Not speaking for hb, but I've been just as skeptical and dissatisfied as you since he came aboard.
We've seen progress. It's still very early in the season.
This incident on its own is not something that forces an owner's hand. If the moves he's made are focused on a long-term solution, four games isn't going to be enough for any of us to say his roster changes have netted us a total loss. Moving on from him today may be more damaging to our future than riding things out to see where they land. We know our owner is patient, loyal, call it what you will, to a fault.
I still think Urbz is a [BLEEP], but he's our [BLEEP]. I want him to move on from this and show whether he truly is focused on developing not only the team, but himself. If he isn't committed, and the team starts to deteriorate for it, then by all means, the owner needs to step in. At this point, though, that's not the reality. Sadly, though, I have a feeling it is going to be a long season, and any time the team looks flat on a Sunday, the questions are going to surface as to whether he was out clubbing the weekend before, or his home life getting in the way, etc.
I just want something worth cheering for.

Dude is already mentally tired and it's week 4. That's pretty incredible...... Even for Urban standards.
It's only week 4, we're facing our biggest rival who has one of Urban's biggest personal rivals as head coach, and we have a bye in 2 more games where he could have multiple days to get a mental break. Really crazy that he decided to treat now as his near breaking point.
given that they had a short week, y'all are really upset that the team took a day off on a long weekend?
Do you all not think that in a normal game week there isn't a day of rest between Monday and Saturday?
If you bust your hump and put in tons of OT to get a project done at work, do you not take a breather when the job is done?
Y'all must be robits.

The project isn't done, they merely failed to meet another milestone. If the project manager continually failed to hit the project milestones then turned around and said getting ready to meet the next one wasn't his job then we'd be hiring a new project manager to get the project back on track.

I want the team to win, if it's with Urban as the coach great. However, I've seen enough of him so far to believe that any more time spent with him leading this organization is just wasted.

The Jags are 0-4 and play a division rival.
Let me ask you this. What do you think Belicheck, Andy Reid, Sean Payton or McVay would be doing after a loss like that?

Couple things here.
1) It's about solidarity and leadership. You're the guy in charge. Unless there's a health or family emergency, you should be there with the people you lead, especially after you've all had a collective failure.
2) Andy Reid is one of the winningest coaches in NFL history. Urban Meyer is 0-4 and has appeared unprepared, uninformed, and outmatched on multiple occasions. Regardless, find me any evidence that Reid has ever not been with the team after a loss or had a public scandal on this level.

Additionally, he wears white after Labor Day. Despicable.
Public scandal? We are talking about a woman dancing up on Urban…. The inhumanity of it all!!! Snowflakes abound, LMAO
I’ve stated before that him not flying back with the team was a faux pas. While some say it’s bad, I’ve heard other players say it’s not that big of a deal. I guess it all depends on which side you support.
Regardless, I’m sure he’ll never do it again. It happened. It’s done. Move on.

He might not do this exactly again, but he will do something bad again because he is a bad person who has a long history of doing bad things.
