Instead, so many "armchair" coaches and GM's are suggesting that he should have been "studying 'tape'" which "tape" to them is replays on NFL network.
On the flight home nobody is "looking at tape" or otherwise. When they land players and coaches get into their personal vehicles and go home for the weekend. This is what happens every time win or lose.
People (including the media) have made this non-story bigger than it is.
Hahahaha what a horrible take.
If Urban was single, way to go old man! Get after it.
But as a married man, shouldn’t he have better values than that? Why don’t you go to a bar and have a young woman grind on you and then you stick your fingers somewhere and see if your wife celebrates it.
I know I know, it's JLC. This time Dilla has confirmed everything JLC has been saying though. And obviously we already know he is a con man and a fraud, so this rings true to me. Just delaying the inevitable because Shad has been well...Shad.

I do wonder if having a franchise QB like Lawrence will make Khan less patient with HC's but if its going to cost him the reported $50m to fire Meyer then i cant see it happening soon. I mean Khans statement of his actions being 'inexcusable' and 'must regain our trust and respect' are strong words for an owner, especially for a HC 4 games into a career here.
Can he back it up though? I think Urban will get a pass this year no matter what. He will be in the hot seat next year if Jags start slow
If Urban is gone mid season I hope we name Brian the intern. His dad was Marty and has been around coaching his whole life and it's in his blood. Would love to give Brian a shot and see how the team reacts and how they do. .

This is the most accurate take on the situation.

This is the big question. I agree i cant see Khan pulling the trigger this season unless there is another incident but that seat is getting hotter and hotter for Meyer. There are a lot of quotes from unnamed players and sources that paint a troubling picture in that locker room. How true they are i think we will see as the season goes on.
Urban has done his dirt and a win today could help repair that. I do not expect a win but could go a long way for players believing in his system. The true person to believe for the state of this team since 2013 is Shad Khan.

Lol so good.
Jacob Hollister just catches a beautiful TD from Lawrence. Broadcast is showing the players coming off the field and Meyer meeting them for a fist bump or whatever. The 3 players they showed before cutting away didnt even look at him or respond to his attempt to celebrate the TD. hmmm.

On the other hand, I was at the stadium yesterday, and in the pre-game warmups, a lot of Jaguar players came up to Urb and showed affection for him, like putting their arm around his shoulder, or patting him on the back, or patting him on the butt. There were several players who seemed to want to show their support.
I think the main issue we have is we just aren’t good. However, I’m not seeing a lot from urban to think he is making a big difference with great coaching so far. Anyone on this board could have coached the team to this record.

Yea, later in the game quite a few of them got pumped and gave him some backside handsy action (not sure if this was intended as an inside joke or not), but your input is interesting to hear. Maybe he's only lost part of the locker room, and this can be restored over time. Guess we'll see. Also makes you wonder how the NFL will shape this the rest of the season. If the streak continues, it'll probably be back there simmering as a talking point.
This fantasy that Meyer has “lost the locker room” in whole or in part is pure, well, fantasy.

Says WHO? How long will this team continue to believe as the losses pile up?

You're right. He never had it.

Moot point anyway. Gus had the locker room and look how that turned out. So far Meyer has been a huge loser in the NFL.
