Not sounding good

Wow, this is has locker room killer written all over it.  Probably effectively over for Meyer now, even if Khan isnt going to fire him.
If Shad Khan decides to move on from Urban Meyer during the season,  I think he would ask Darrell Bevell to be his interim HC.  The vast majority of the Lions players on both sides of the ball responded to Bevell's leadership as interim HC well after tbe rigidity of Matt Patricia.  The substantial improvement of Trevor Lawrence is an indicator that Lawrence is responding well to Bevell's coaching.  IMHO,  the progress and mindset of Lawrence is by far the moat important aspect of the Jaguars 2021 season.

I would be ok with Bevell taking over if it comes to that. Not sure who they'd elevate to OC if that did happen. Someone who is willing to call Robinson's number frequently I hope.

Shad, just pull the trigger for once.
Just delaying the inevitable….. which seems to be the Jags MO with just about every decision.

Don’t give me hope
We lose every game when we actually are focused on our opponent throughout the week. So maybe with this being a distraction, we can win a game.

Or has he dodged a bullet?

"This was inexcusable"

But "I'll excuse it"...

What a joke Khan.

Are you surprised?

Shad is a poor mans John Henry in terms of sports team ownership.  Even his soccer club, Fulham, is crap.  Made the Premier league just twice and in both years, finished bottom 3 and have been relegated.

Whatever he touches in sports turns to crap.
And the ugly just gets uglier lol. Mr. Khan is too soft to fire people quickly. Just look at previous tenders. They were given time after time, chance after chance. I’m not saying fire urban, i mean maybe i am lol. But we all know how this will play out. He could be caught at the strip club, tossing money and slipping 100’s in cracks and still be ok here…..

A strong running game benefits Trevor Lawrence and the entire Jaguars team greatly.  With James Robinson demonstrating he can handle 15 + carries and be effective,  there's no question it's important for the Jaguars that Robinson continues to be used in this manner.
Urban's poor results along with this ...ahem......debacle just seems to continue to show Khan made the wrong choice.
Hate it for all involved but see no way for Urban to regain everyones' respect.

Nah, since Shad took over, the team as accumulated:

2, 4, 3, 5, 3, 10, 5, 6, and 1 win seasons.

To get to 0.500 under Shad's ownership, the Jags would have to win their next 73 consecutive games.  That's next level turd.

Bevell can call his plays from the sideline. Might need a different assistance up in the booth, but it wouldn't be Shotty either.

Every year there’s a new hire, we’re all scratching our heads at first and then we just suck it up and try to support it. But it’s becoming an issue that his hiring seems to be suspect every time…

How fast some fans turned on their team and starting making demands for change just after four weeks and a female that had bad intentions toward Coach Urban. That was actually quick, like 0-60 in 2.2 milliseconds.

NH3...

He's Donald Sterling, without the racism.

Didn't he hire a racist before?
Man... I really tried to at least give Urban the first quarter before I made any strong judgments. Then we came out and got destroyed by the Texans. Unable to even line up on the first play correctly.

Then we tightened up and played an uninspired game against the Broncos, then a chaotic game against the cardinals, and finally a competitive game against the Bengals. OK, I am disappointed, but at least the trend is positive.

This really killed any positive momentum Meyer was making with me. The first video was a bit concerning, but not a kill shot. The second video, ouch man, I hope you told your wife the truth when this first broke. Otherwise I assume that will be a big problem at home for him. Potential marriage-ender right there if his wife has her head on straight.

I know plenty of guys in the locker room won't care about Urban doing this, but we also have a lot of family men in there. Josh Allen, DJ Chark and Trevor Lawrence must be looking at Meyer with disgust.

As many have said the video from a professional standpoint is also terrible. If Urban used the bs excuse of visiting family with his team to not fly back together, then it just becomes impossible to hold your team accountable. Especially for a new coach that hasn't had time to build a solid foundation of respect with his team.

I will be rooting for the Jags in the bank this Sunday, but I will be shocked if they don't come out completely flat and unprepared after this [BLEEP].

I was referring to Khan, not Meyer. No one that I'm aware of thinks Khan is a racist. Unless 'lousy owner' is a new racial identity.
