Here it is!

Welp...

I really dig it.
Hope the Khans, the CoJ, and the public at large can figure out funding.

Yeah. Deegan and City Hall have to make this work more than anything. That concept is top notch.
I approve, get with it now.
It’s a little uncomfortable knowing that a sizable portion of Jacksonville’s residents would rather the team be gone and yearn for the days of Cowford.

Telling you man. You have to give them a coupon book with some vouchers.

Skimmed through it. A lot of the argument is that you're just throwing a nice diamond in a turd tainted punch bowl because downtown Jacksonville will remain as it is. Which is kind of fair. I don't go downtown for anything unless it's a sports game, concert or some kind of here and there event worth the drive.

I am curious what the cost would be to build a new stadium (this is same exact concept) and relocate it somewhere more accessible in Jacksonville. I know we'll lose the river view and everything else it entails though. I do see what you're saying though. Seems like most people commenting have zero faith in the team being worth a lick to keep the seats filled. Some fans are questioning why just 62K seats for the price tag? They didn't see the part I guess where it can expand up to 72K for CFB.

Which, that part is interesting as well. Can't the current stadium hold well more than that figure for the Florida / Georgia game? I thought it was close to six figures if I am not mistaken. This is going to be rough man. I know Deegan claims to be a lifelong fan and she has the pictures and pedigree to prove that, but, good luck on getting everybody onboard here in this city.

If we lose this team. It'll be years before the NFL gives us another chance. I also don't understand the logic about "Well, what's the point if he's playing games in London". You really think Khan is going to put this concept out there and spend what looks like a little over or close to 10% of his overall net worth at over $1B for it sit here on the river and collect dust? It's not just about football with that stadium. There's other attractions for that design.

I have a younger brother just like some of these people. I turned 35 this year. He'll be 29 in July. He doesn't care for the NFL since the woke movement a few years ago. He also lives on the north side of town and has had the same water and septic issues and [BLEEP] that a lot of folks are complaining about now for fixing. He doesn't see the point in paying taxes towards something like this when the city in general needs work.

I would personally like to see public transportation, maybe skyline style railways added across the entire city to make ease of access better for everybody. Being able to bridge downtown JAX somehow to JAX beaches and bypassing the streets, traffic, etc. That would be awesome for this city but I understand that's probably a mountain of a project with herculean costs and efforts that would need to be factored in. Would be nice though.
I guarantee all the negative nancys in those comments are not successful in anything in life with their mentality.  Flaming away on the internet is what they have been relegated to.  That rendering is amazing.

True. However, they still get a say and vote in this and they still pay the same amount of tax we'll all have to pay here locally if anything gets approved. I try to be fair and sympathetic. I get it man. Why would anybody just barely outside of Duval county give a lick about this stadium when they live in a [BLEEP] hole with septic issues in a crime ridden area? It's all completely fair and valid reasons to bellyache. Sometimes it's not as simple as saying, "Well, get another [BLEEP] job and move the [BLEEP] out of there to a nicer side of town".
I like the skyline idea.. Monorail.. Monorail.. Monorail!!

Hopefully WE outnumber THEM.  I guarantee I pay more taxes then them though, total wise.  Guess it's my fault my income is higher ?

Thanks. I think it would be cool. Make somewhat of a straight shot from Downtown to Neptune or something like that. Would take years but bridging the gap would go a long way towards increasing revenue for both sides of the town and shifting cultures into a nice balance potentially. Maybe a well off business owner on JAX beach would consider building or expanding his/her business in downtown JAX if they can hop on a damn monorail and bypass 40+ minutes of traffic and nonsense in the morning and maybe get there in 25.

There will be a loud majority of folks that oppose this expense.
They will make a few good points and a hundred ridiculous attempts at reason.

They will out number "us" - but as you have alluded - the deciding dollars may likely be under the purse strings of those in favor of this project.

The city has an uphill battle to carve out a deal that looks more appealing to Duval citizens. It will be interesting to se how Deegan and her team accomplish this.

In there eyes and by their estimate? Probably. I think we do outnumber them by count. For sure. Going to get really interesting really fast really soon here though. Looking forward to paying attention to local news again on my end.
I see in the concept that they got rid of the pool..

Need a lazy river that flows around the stadium.. Maybe we could just rent an inner tube and float around the stadium during the games.

Still waiting on the volleyball nets..

Turn the outside of the stadium into a giant jumbotron and charge boaters, tubers and kayakers tree fiddy to park in buoyed off areas to watch from the river. Swimmers get in free. No noodles, rafts or boards allowed though. You gotta float.

The overall price tag should be lower and the team should pay for more of it. The upgrades in Miami were significantly less money. The new Titans stadium will have a significantly larger contribution from their ownership. That said, it's still in the threshold that the city can afford it.

Because the city is paying for most of it, they will be able to lead the process to find ways to cut costs from the project. If Khan and the city are smart, they will sign a contract that extends the lease for 30 years in exchange for certain performance characteristics, such as the roof, additional square feet on upper floors, etc., but no fixed capital expenditure dollar value.
What I couldn't figure out in the video is the outside part reflective? Will it reflect the sun up (that will blind pilots), sideways (that may impact other buildings), or downwards (that will affect the new lot J or the other sports arenas and parking)? It would be crazy if the Jags ended up creating a giant magnifying glass effect and start setting cars on fire in the parking lots.

The inside looks bad with all the support beams running across the top and the screens being smaller or just looking shorter and now blocked by the beams.
The new entrances look good but was it really that bad to use long ramps that didn't have a steep incline?

I want to see a realistic video for what is actually being built, not some concept that someone dreamed up but can't actually be built.

I want to see something where the supports are on the outside and the sun tarp or covering is on the bottom. Make it like a bridge and tie it into the city.
These renderings are on point w/respect to maintaining the core structure of the stadium. Renovating it and ending up w/anything similar to the renderings and the upgrades are truly welcomed.

Yes the ticket, food and drink pricing will increase BUT it'll be well worth it. As I've said before, I cant wait to be seated within the new revamped stadium.

NH3...
I do not envy Mark Lamping in what he’ll have to encounter during his “community conversations”.
