And herein lies the rub for media commentary.
The public has a desire for news and talk related to the news, but there simply isn't enough of substance out there to warrant anything more than maybe a 30 minute segment per day on most any one topic.

When the recipe says to wrap the chicken in foil and stick them in the oven for 20 minutes and after 20 minutes they aren't even close to done. The butter on top hadn't even melted properly!

People who wig out at the mention of snow. We're supposed to get some up here this weekend and folks are freaking out. Except the ones I saw with several cases of beer and a snow shovel in their cart. That's the way to handle a snow event. Or in my case, as frigid as it's going to get, some Bailey's Irish Cream in my coffee. I gotta hit the ABC store up tomorrow.
Do people actually watch these ESPN shows where three or more people are just sitting around a desk staring at (and typing into) their smartphones and gossiping about athletes??
Those shows annoy me, and the pathetic sheep who watch that tripe annoy me even more. Bah!!

If it's a show talking about Sizzurp, I get it. We don't need to hear him try to talk football.

I was watching that on NFLNetwork the other day. He seemed baked out of his mind. Definitely belongs in this thread.

I completely understand this annoyance.
When you're on call and you get a notification at 2:27 in the morning and it turns out that it was absolutely nothing that couldn't have waited. Then you can't get back to sleep.
Not that it's ever (this morning) happened to me.
