Annoying dishwashers that can't get three week old coffee sludge out of my cup.

Clean your filter. Some models easier to get to than others. Throw a cup of baking soda on the bottom and fill a cup up with white vinegar and place on top rack. Run dishwasher. Problem solved.

 

Also, get a water softener.
