I think it's odd how humans are such copy cats. In my business parking lot (I'm the first one to park) if I pull in straight ahead most of the customers pull in the same way. If I park backing in the customers will do the same.
My BIL backs in wherever he goes. I've often asked him why and he has no answer, just that he's always done it that way.
