This S crop is being billed as the best in a long time.

No need whatsoever to take one at 4.

Quote:no not really

Agree, draft a premium position with the first round.

Plenty of S to be found later.

What if Thomas and Garrett are both gone at 4?  Only "premium" position really there would be Lattimore, but the DB depth in this draft is ridiculous also, so we can wait on that too.  Just because there are a lot of good safeties, doesn't mean that Adams won't be a rare/special talent.
This Utah CB. Is having a good showing today never heard of him before but 6'3 and he's been moving pretty well and posted a good 40 in the 4.4s. Converted WR only been playing CB the last couple years still raw but definitely worth a late round flyer.
Obi Melifonwu S 6'4 220

44" vert

11'9 broad jump

Yep, it was just reported a couple days ago that the Seahawks have been stalking Obi for weeks...they have to be his floor now.

Apparently being asked about playing LB by a bunch of teams. I hope he stays out of our division

I've seen more about teams asking him to play cornerback.

Given the discrepancy between Jonathan Allen's and Solomon Thomas' combine results, I'm fairly convinced the Bears are now set to take Thomas at #3. I'm thining the draft will start out... 1. Garrett 2. Kizer 3. Thomas 4. Adams ...

4.36 40 for Lattimore.  He's gotta be at least in consideration at 4.  If he falls out of the top 10, someone messed up.

Allen's health is the biggest factor IMO.  If it's going to affect his NFL career, then he'll fall.
Obi 4.46

The 4.4 40 time will help that.
Adams with a 31.5 inch vert..... eww. And he ran mid 4.5.

Solomon Thomas. Come on home.

Say Thomas is gone by 4, try to trade back and take Obi?

Let's just assume Garret goes #1. I think a QB will go to 2 or 3 even though they're not worth it, I think it happens.

Then Jags get Allen or Thomas. Should be fine. If for some reason Allen, Garret and Thomas are all gone, then trade back and take Taco, Tak, Foster, Fournette....
If Thomas isn't there I'm leaning towards lattimore. Adams did not impress me today

I'm fine with this. We're talking about a playmaking SS who is thought to be the best tackler in the draft. If he ran a 4.3 with a 40" vert we wouldn't be talking about him at SS.

With that said, how did Hooker and Lattimore do?

Please trade down, Jaguars.
