*out of 29 seasons, the Jaguars have only had a double-digit sack player in 7 of those seasons. 4 of those seasons have came in the last 7 years.

From 1995 to 2016 the franchise only had 3 seasons of having a player with double-digit sacks in a single season, which was 1999, 2001, 2006 (Brackens, Brackens, McCray)

He'll be back, but Doug said he's week to week. Said they want to make sure he's back 100% mentally and physically before putting him out there.

He'll be back, but Doug said he's week to week. Said they want to make sure he's back 100% mentally and physically before putting him out there.

Yup, he's been a healthy scratch but I think it's mainly bc when he did come back from being out they probably saw he needed a few more weeks to get his conditioning and strength back. It sounds nice to have him basically 100% for the playoffs

I heard that he lost about 40 lbs being inactive for 2 months and getting to his playing weight and stamina safely is the issue.

If he’s not 100% don’t play him. Doesn’t work good for us or him.

I could see that. These big guys have to force that weight on regularly. Look at Joe Thomas when he retired, from what I understand all he did was stop forcing in the calories and kept his same workout routine. Losing that much seems like a lot but when you're that big it falls off so fast if you stop eating the same.

Watching the all 22 I saw Allen being blatantly held three times and on one of him he still got to the QB despite Tunsil having a grip on his facemask, LOL

Josh Allen and Calais Campbell are the only players in franchise history to have 2 games with atleast 3 sacks.

Only 6 players in franchise history have registered 3 sacks in a single game:

Campbell
Spicer
Allen
Clemons
Pritchett
Henderson

Allen registered 3 sacks against Indy and 3 sacks against Atlanta, he almost made history against Houston. If he would have had half a sack that would given him 3 games with 3 sacks all in the same season.

No other Jaguar has ever done that.

We may never see this type of season again. I hope he gets to 19 or 20

The Jaguars could make NFL history by having the richest offensive player and richest defensive player in NFL history.
